Ben Carson Seeks Female Vote By Comparing Women to Slave Owners (Video)

Screen Shot 2015-10-26 at 4.38.14 AMIf the unthinkable happens and somehow Ben Carson manages to become our next president, this country is in a whole lot of trouble. While Donald Trump gets most of the attention from the media, in my opinion, Carson is much… much worse than Trump.

I’m sorry, but I’ll take a rich, arrogant blowhard over a religious fanatic any day.

For example, recent comments Carson made concerning abortion and victims of rape. Unsurprisingly, Carson opposes allowing rape victims to have an abortion, but he took things a step further during an interview with Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.”

“The mother should not believe that the baby is her enemy and should not be looking to terminate the baby,” Carson said. “We’ve allowed purveyors of division to think that baby is their enemy and they have a right to kill it. Can you see how perverted that line of thinking is?”

First, I have never heard of women viewing a fetus as “an enemy.” From what I’ve read, and from the women I’ve spoke with who’ve been victims of sexual assault, there are a litany of reasons why a woman wouldn’t want to carry a fetus to term following a rape. Not only that, but it’s deplorable to believe that you have the right to tell a woman who was just brutally assaulted that she now has no control over her body.

Does he realize how perverted that line of thinking is?

But he wasn’t even done.

“Think about this. During slavery, and I know that one of those words you’re not supposed to say, but I’m saying it,” Carson stated. “During slavery, a lot of the slave owners thought they had the right to do whatever they wanted to that slave, anything that they chose to do. And what if the abolitionists had said, ‘You know, I don’t believe in slavery, I think it’s wrong. But you guys do whatever you want to do.’ Where would we be?”

Simply put, Ben Carson is not a rational person. These are words from someone who clearly has no grasp of life outside of his own warped view of the world. And the worst part is, his view of the world is based on an extreme interpretation of the Bible. This is someone who literally believes that the theory of evolution is a tool of the devil.

The main goal for progressives, liberals and Democrats next year must be to make damn sure Republicans don’t win the White House. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say that if the GOP wins next November, based upon the idiots they have running, they’re not going to set this country back years… they’ll set it back decades.

If that doesn’t motivate everybody on the left, I’m not sure what will.

Clearly this man has a serious mental disorder…..any sane person can see this. He and The Trumpster are complete mental cases….and should not be taken seriously at all. What’s disturbing are all the people who don’t see this.

I agree both are walking pathology books, just different volumes. But what I most agree with: that either one has a following of any kind— What that is emblematic of—- is chilling.

        Very disturbing….

      • OMGface

Yep….head exploding disturbing, Marie. Approaching actual hallucination.

I keep praying that we are still the same country the twice elected Barack Obama to the presidency. If so, none of the nutjobs and loons on the right will ever be elected until the Republican party comes to its senses.

    • OMGface

Indeed, what’s been unfolding is a total nitemare….tho what Obama was up against from minute one, and WHY has been as well.

  • OMGface

Sad to say I agree with this piece, but just how far have we eroded given they who are left with horrific vs apocalyptic? I mean, OBJECTIVELY. that we are currently 28th in literacy in the world has a lot to do with this.

I’m still wondering what Ben Carson’s qualifications for the position actually are. Seems like republican talking heads in 2008 accused, then Senator, Barack Obama of being “inexperienced” and only getting the nomination because of “white guilt”, so what exactly qualifies Ben Carson to hold the highest office in the land in their minds? Is it because Rush Limbaugh thinks Ben Carson could babysit his “kids” (that he doesn’t have)?

Rush: “He’s a Genius……His life story is inspirational. He is the kind of man that everybody would love for their kids to meet and emulate, and politics can turn him into a buffoon. Politics can make somebody like that look like a buffoon.

He’s thoughtful, plodding, considerate. He doesn’t…. shoot from the hip type of person.”

Seems like he was actually talking about Barack Obama here, but tried to apply this to Ben Carson…..hahahaha….I guess rush is looking for a little “Magic” himself.

Rush sold his soul long ago. He is an ignoble parasite who can only feed off the deficiencies of others.

Re Carson: ponder what it takes for someone to be a halfway decent surgeon—and, despite his CV, there are marrow chilling accounts on the net from some of his former patients whose lives he ruined beyond repair—all it takes, is for someone to be both fearless and a good mechanic.

oh, and it’s Brain Surgery … so you might loose a patient or too, or have survivors with limited motor action or other such failings. People should remember the Lobotomies that were performed not too long ago. When I heard about his teenage knife welding days, I was like … say what?! He also looks like he’s sleepy or sleeping half the time; almost like, he’s been hypnotized. Who would have to LIE that much?

I know. I try to find the funny, but I mostly think I must be hallucinating, but, under it all, I mostly feel I must be hallucinating. Re his affect, I think he’s artificially chilled and came to learn that works on some.
