It appears in less than 24 hours after the images of the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombing went public, answers might be headed our way. The Boston Globe is reporting police have one suspect in custody after what can only be described as a chaotic night in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
It started with the report of a shooting at MIT which left one officer dead, and quickly escalated into stories of hijacked cars with suspects throwing some kind of explosives from the moving vehicles.
Though I know we’ve all been jaded by rush to judgement reporting, what we’ve seen here tonight seems logical as the suspects, which appear in the photos circulating around the internet, must have known it was only a matter of time before they were caught.
With jackass conspiracy theories from the likes of buffoons like Alex Jones who tried to turn this into another revenue stream for his ridiculous fear mongering, it appears that the whole ordeal might be headed towards a much more likely scenario of young, pathetic parasites who sought some kind of barbaric fame.
Many outlets are reporting that the explosives used tonight were similar to the “pressure cooker” devices used for the bombing at the Boston Marathon, and it’s believed that the suspects tonight are the same people sought for the bombing at the Boston Marathon. MSNBC reported that “visual and physical evidence” directly links these events to the marathon bombings.
There are also rumors, and a photo, of a bomb robot inspecting a car which was believed to be used by tonight’s suspects. There’s also this video which recorded a shootout between law enforcement and the suspects from tonight’s mayhem.
Reports still claim that only one suspect has been taken into custody but a second suspect might still be at large, so anyone in the area should be cautious. Police are asking residents of Watertown to stay indoors and do not answer their door for anybody unless it’s a uniformed, identified police officer.
I caution everyone to take all reports on suspect’s names and other details with a grain of salt, considering how many false reports we’ve seen the last few days. However, from the information I’ve read from different, unrelated news outlets, it seems as if the chaos which has ensued tonight in and around Boston is related to the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing.
I really do hope that the events of tonight are related to the bombing at the Boston Marathon and we can finally have some closure here, because I would really hate to see the people of Boston be subjected to an unrelated instance where pure terror has gripped their city.
One thing is for certain, at 3:49 am EST it’s chaos in Massachusetts.
