CNBC Report Details How the RNC’s Paying Trump Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars

If you happen to be a Republican who’s donated to the RNC over the last several months, or plan to in the future, I have some great news. There’s a very good chance that your donation is ending up in Donald Trump’s bank account.

It seems over the last several months, the RNC, which currently has offices in Trump Tower, is paying this “president’s” company $37,000 per month in rent for his re-election campaign.

As reported by CNBC:

Soon after the Republican National Committee came under pressure for paying legal bills for President Donald Trump and his eldest son in the special counsel’s Russia probe, it started covering expenses for the president’s re-election campaign.

The RNC is using campaign funds to pay Trump’s company more than $37,000 a month in rent, and to pay thousands of dollars in monthly salary to Vice President Mike Pence‘s nephew, John Pence, party officials confirmed this week. The rent pays for office space in the Trump Tower in New York for the staff of Trump’s re-election campaign. John Pence is the Trump campaign’s deputy executive director.

Campaign finance experts who spoke to CNBC said this type of spending by a party committee on behalf of a campaign is highly unusual but legal, and it appears the RNC disclosed it correctly.

So far the party has spent over $290,000 on Trump’s campaign expenses since September. Previously, those expenses were being paid for by Trump’s campaign. At $37,000 per month, that breaks down to $444,000 a year the RNC will pay to Trump’s company if it continues to hold offices in his building. Combine that with the $144,000 annual salary Pence’s nephew is also being paid and that’s $588,000 on just those two expenses the RNC will be paying out.

So if there are any Republican voters who donate to the party, think about that next time you see a post from the RNC, or receive an email from them, asking for donations.

While this is legal, senior counsel for the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center called it a “mystery,” saying that the RNC should probably be more focused on spending their money on the 2018 midterm elections rather than on Trump’s rent.

I’ll give it to Trump, he’s successfully managed to build himself quite the loyal cult. To think that he’s essentially ripping off hundreds of thousands of dollars from the RNC — his own party — to pay him rent when he doesn’t need the money, and I’m certain none of his supporters care. Hell, they might even donate more after seeing this story. It’s a true testament to how brainwashed they are.

After passing a tax scam that drastically reduced his taxes, to go along with all the other ways he’s profiting from the presidency, it’s clear no previous “president” in our history positioned themselves to make as much money from the office as Trump. By the time this fraud and crook is out of the White House, he will have made himself much wealthier by screwing over the country, his own party, and the millions of people who were gullible enough to support him.
