CNN Host Humiliates Trump on Twitter, Debunks Another One of His Absurd Lies

By now it’s no secret that Donald Trump just makes things up. We’re not even dealing with a situation where it’s a big lie every once in a while, which is normal in politics. This is an every day activity – often multiple blatant fabrications per day – where Trump and his lackeys are pushing pure fiction.

For example, Thursday morning when Trump went on Twitter to whine like a little baby, accosting CNN’s Chris Cuomo over Sen. Richard Blumenthal’s lies about serving in Vietnam:

First, I would like to point out the pathetic nature of someone who never served in the military trying to criticize someone who did. Yes, Blumenthal was caught misrepresenting his tenure in the Marines, which is inexcusable, but he did serve — unlike Trump.

The point here is, not only did Cuomo ask Blumenthal about his lies regarding his military service, but it was the first question he asked the senator:

Cuomo was then apparently inundated with Trump supporters blindly following the lie they were told to believe, attacking the New Day anchor for something that wasn’t true.

Here’s what Cuomo asked Blumenthal to start their interview:

What is your response to the president of the United States saying you should not be believed because you misrepresented your military record in the past?

It’s obvious that Trump’s main goal has been to try to act as if the comments his Supreme Court pick Judge Neil Gorsuch made when he called his attacks on federal judges “demoralizing” and “disheartening” were nothing but “fake news” made up by people out to get him. That’s exactly what he always does when news comes out he doesn’t want people believing — claim it’s a conspiracy against him.

The main problem for Trump is the source for these comments by Gorsuch came from Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte.

“Judge Gorsuch has made it very clear in all of his discussions with senators, including Sen. Blumenthal, that he could not comment on any specific cases and that judicial ethics prevent him from commenting on political matters,” Ayotte said in a statement. “He has also emphasized the importance of an independent judiciary, and while he made clear that he was not referring to any specific case, he said that he finds any criticism of a judge’s integrity and independence disheartening and demoralizing.”

So, while Trump’s childish mind was focused on trying to personally attack Blumenthal, or spread lies about Cuomo, all of this stems from a statement released by a Republican senator who confirmed that Gorsuch did, indeed, say these comments.

But this is the world in which we’re now living. One where the leader of the United States personally attacks people (or businesses), accusing them of pushing “fake news” when he’s the one pushing lies, fake statistics, and blatant propaganda.

I’m just glad we’re seeing more and more members of the media, even some over on Fox News, taking a stand against this national embarrassment.
