Donald Trump’s Toothless Tuesday Twitter Tantrum was Completely Bonkers

While Donald Trump and his supporters seem to think his rants on Twitter are “an effective strategy to get the truth out,” the exact opposite is actually true. Sure, his supporters really like them, because the vast majority of them are brainwashed sheep who love anything he does, no matter how hypocritical it is. But his social media outbursts often do nothing more than continually prove how incompetent, unhinged, and mentally unfit he is to hold that office.

Tuesday’s was no different.

It began around 6:09 am:

The money given to Iran was actually their money awarded to them by an international court that the Obama administration simply authorized the release of as part of the nuclear deal he signed with them. This is nothing more than a babbling rant by someone who obviously doesn’t have any idea what he’s talking about, he’s just repeating talking points he’s heard on Fox News — which is probably what Trump was watching just before he sent this.

Next up was a prime example that Trump has absolutely no understanding of the law or our Constitution:

The FBI and Department of Justice have already investigated all of this and found absolutely no criminal wrongdoing. There’s absolutely no evidence of security breaches by Abedin. The only reason she’s even in the news again is because some of her emails (most heavily redacted) are being released as part of a lawsuit conservative Judicial Watch has filed against the State Department requiring them to release certain documents. Nothing in these documents is new news or anything that hasn’t already been investigated.

This is just Trump’s continued obsession with Hillary Clinton shining through. I did like how he made sure to bring up Comey’s name because, well, he’s someone else who this “president” is obsessed about.

Also, I feel it’s important to point out, the situation involving Abedin’s emails has absolutely nothing in common with the situation where Petty Officer First Class Kristian Saucier pleaded guilty to improperly handling classified information when she took pictures inside of a submarine. An intelligent person who actually understands basic law would know this — which is exactly why Trump doesn’t.

Though now he’s directly accusing his own Justice Department of being part of a “deep state” conspiracy against him.

You can’t make this stuff up.

After that came this:

But, yes, Mr. Trump, tell us all again how you don’t watch much television as most of your hours-long morning Twitter rants can be directly linked to something said on cable news.

Then something else he clearly saw on cable news:

While a few companies are giving out bonuses, they’re one-time payments — and most aren’t. These bonuses are also a fraction of the billions many of these larger corporations are going to be saving over the next several years. The moves by these companies are nothing more than a PR stunt aimed at trying to make themselves look good when the fact of the matter is the vast majority of the money they’re going to be saving from Trump’s tax bill will be spent making their rich executives even wealthier.

The next tweet was, once again, clearly something he saw on cable news:

People fleeing North Korea is nothing new. Again, an intelligent person would know this — which is why Trump doesn’t.

Then Trump actually tried to take credit for planes not crashing (no, that’s not a joke):

The study to which Trump was referring was talking about all over the world, not just here in the United States. So, considering there hasn’t been a fatal passenger airline crash in the U.S. since 2009, or a fatal commuter crash since 2013, it’s obvious this is just another attempt by Trump to take credit for something he had nothing to do with.

He then sent out a two-party tweet about The New York Times getting a new publisher. Though I’m not going to bother posting those two because, well, it’s the same drivel he always says. I will, however, point out that this was clearly another story he saw while watching cable news.

Then came possibly his most absurd tweet of the day:

Yeah, that’s not going to happen. Though I like how Trump’s mind exists in a world where he seems to think that just because he says something, no matter how ridiculous, that somehow makes it true.

For the record, his ending DACA was purely about politics. It’s a move even members of his own party have criticized and he did it as part of his on-going obsession with trying to undo any policy signed by Barack Obama.

Finally, after several other tweets about various subjects, Trump sent out this “gem” later in the afternoon:

Yeah, that’s basically a “haha, loser, mine’s bigger than yours!” schoolyard tweet… from the “president” of the United States, about nuclear weapons.

What more can be said about that?
