Embarrassing Report Reveals Military Advisors Struggling with Simple-Minded Trump

Unless you’re one of Donald Trump’s brainwashed supporters, odds are you’re probably well aware of the fact that he’s not a very intelligent person. Despite having a degree from an Ivy League university, Trump seems more like that “drunk uncle who shows up to ruin every holiday” than he does a highly-educated businessman.

Sporting a vocabulary that’s often reminiscent of a bratty 8-year-old, the temperament of a toddler, and insecurities that are unprecedented, the current “president” is anything but a “tough, confident intellectual.”

Despite being a 71-year-old father of five and grandfather, Trump behaves much more like a child than a fully grown adult. It’s a sad reality that hasn’t gone unnoticed by other world leaders who’ve adjusted how they might otherwise prepare for an official visit by a U.S. president to accommodate the simple-minded Trump.

Well, in another humiliating report that sheds light on what an imbecile Trump is, The Washington Post reports that sources close to military briefings on Afghanistan say that his short attention span is making it next to impossible for security advisors to discuss the complex intricacies of the war that’s now in its 16th year.

As reported by The Washington Post:

Among his [national security advisor H.R. McMaster] biggest challenges was holding the attention of the president. In classified briefings, Trump would frequently flit between subjects. “We moved very quickly from news to intelligence to policy with very little clarity on which lanes we were in,” said a U.S. official who took part in the briefings. “McMaster would act like the tangents didn’t happen and go back to Point 2 on his card.”

Trump had little time for in-depth briefings on the Afghanistan’s history, its complicated politics or its seemingly endless civil war. Even a single page of bullet points on the country seemed to tax the president’s attention span on the subject, said senior White House officials.

“I call the president the two-minute man,” said one Trump confidant. “The president has patience for a half-page.”

It’s no wonder Trump loves Twitter; clearly his attention span only lasts around 140 characters.

Politics aside, the fact that the current “president” seems to lack the intellectual ability to understand an extraordinarily complex situation like what’s going on in Afghanistan should scare the hell out of every sensible person in this nation. This is someone who’s the “leader” of the most powerful nation on Earth who doesn’t seem to have the ability — nor desire — to dedicate the time and effort it takes to understand why the solutions to all the world’s problems can’t be solved or explained in 140 characters.

It would be bad enough if Trump was simply ignorant about all of this going into the White House, but he had a strong desire to correct that ignorance by wanting to learn what he needed to know so that he could make the best decision possible — but that’s not the case. The issue here isn’t just the fact that Trump’s utterly clueless about what’s going on, it’s that he doesn’t even seem to want to learn about it so he can understand these complex situations which he obviously doesn’t currently grasp.

Like everything else in life, he just wants to bark orders at people — no matter how unrealistic — then sit back and throw a hissy fit whenever people can’t make the impossible happen.

Every single day Donald Trump’s in office is another day that our top national security threat could be putting lives in danger due to his unprecedented and perpetual incompetence, and we’d be wise to remember that the majority of the Republican party has gone along with the charade every step of the way.
