Fox News “Medical A-Team” Doctor Lets Loose Full-Blown Racist Rant Against President Obama

keith-ablow-2In what might be some the most racist comments about the president I’ve heard in some time (at least from someone who’s a fairly high profile political commentator), Fox News’ “Medical A-Team” Doctor Keith Ablow pretty much accused the president of hating white America and taking the side of Africans because those are “his people.” And he also insinuated that the only reason why the American people elected President Obama is because we suffered from Stockholm Syndrome.

During an appearance on Fox News’ The John Gibson Show, Ablow asserted that the president believes the United States should feel shame, saying, “Perhaps least of all this country because he has it in for us as disappointing people. People who’ve been a scourge on the face of the Earth. And so for him to then say we’re going to seal the borders and protect Americans when in my view, in his mind, if only unconsciously, he’s thinking, ‘Really? We’re going to prevent folks suffering with illnesses from coming across the border flying into our airports when we have visited a plague of colonialism that has devastated much of the world, on the world? What is the fairness in that?’ I believe Barack Obama is thinking.”

He then went on to assert that President Obama actually hates the United States.

“How can you protect a country you don’t like? Why would you?,” Ablow continued.

Because that makes total sense, right? This is the kind of nonsense that’s literally pulled right out of the conservative media’s collective asses that’s based on absolutely nothing. These are the kinds of things that racists say, without being overtly racist. Because you’ve never heard comments such as these uttered about a white president.

But I think most of us with common sense have known since the very beginning that this conservative rhetoric of “he’s not one of us” is rooted in racism.

Though Ablow wasn’t done there. In fact, his real ignorance hadn’t even shined through yet. He then went on to explain why he thinks Obama hasn’t instituted a travel ban on Africa.

“His affiliations are with them. Not us,” he insisted. “That’s what people seem unwilling to accept. He’s their leader. We don’t have a president. We don’t have a president who has the American people as his primary interest.”

Again, this is a “medical expert” Fox News often turns to for medical advice. Though I think it’s clear that Ablow uses his background as a way to push his own b.s. personal propaganda.

But even then his insanity wasn’t finished. He then went on to suggest that the American people elected President Obama because we were suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. That’s why we elected someone “who has names very similar to two of our archenemies, Osama, well, Obama. And Hussein.”

“And I think that we became psychologically mired in a form of national Stockholm Syndrome,” Ablow asserted. “We said to ourselves, and the world, ‘Look at this guy. We’re going to elect this guy president. Why would you attack us? We’re not even voting for somebody who likes us. This guy, who has names very similar to two of our archenemies, Osama, well, Obama. And Hussein. Hussein. Surely you won’t attack us now because we’ve got a shield here of a guy who, as the leader of our country says we’re bad. So leave us alone. We get the message.'”

If you doubted the assertion I just made about him exploiting his medical background to push his own personal propaganda, that ridiculous accusation pretty much proves it. This wasn’t some kind of real attempt at a medical analysis. This was some right-wing jackass using his medical background to try to give his nonsense credibility, while pandering to the ignorant conservative audience who probably ate this crap right up.

Ablow belongs on some small, hack conspiracy site peddling his outrageous nonsense. Instead, he’s featured on the largest cable news channel on television, Fox News. And that right there tells you the quality of the information that network provides.

But all the Right needs to do is DENY the racism — and it magically disappears. Further, they need only so much as PROJECT the racism on to anyone identifying it — for THAT person to become the racist!

    • Nancy B

Well, sure. Because they can’t possibly be racists. After all, they support Carson and West. 🙂

We have come to expect nothing less from that foul media!

  • The same lunatic logic that pretends that President Obama allowed Ebola to get into the United States from Africa must also hold that Ronald Reagan allowed AIDS get into the US from Africa. I guess he also hated his country?

    • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

Reagan was white———-and aids was a GAY disease ( see: religious LOVE)

      • freethinker57

Actually I have come to realization our national response (which also drives global response) to both epidemics has been very similar.

6,000 Americans died from HIV/AIDS before Reagan even mentioned the disease publicly. Think about that. That’s staggering. Not infected but died. By that time HIV had an established foothold in our population.

But who cared, right? it’s just the gays

Ebola has killed how many thousands, is highly contagious. But the right wing didn’t care about this until it came here. One case in the US and the right came unglued with fear & hysteria. Why now vs when all the other thousands of people were dying?

It was just killing Africans before.

        Just my opinion.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

        that’s pretty lucid I say!

      • The Teapublicans are just using this fake crisis to try to beat up the president before the mid-terms. Their voter base is so fact-free and so bloody delusional that they get away with it fairly easily.

      • Not to mention that Teapublicans have very short memories.

oh they remember,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,trust me they do–
        they bring forth this colloquialism:
” rationalization is giving a socially acceptable answer for socially UNACCEPTABLE behavior”

  • Stephen Barlow

It offends me that he gets paid enough to have NO medical practice for spewing his kind of hate speech. Which is a CRIME in some states.

Are we sure this guy really is a doctor? I wouldn’t trust him with a budgie let alone a human and not a black human for sure. Effing fruitcakes.

Again, it’s from Fox “News”. Why is anyone surprised?

    • Nancy B

The real surprise was when Shep Smith got on this week and told his audience to chill out over Ebola because they weren’t all going to die. He used actual facts and everything. I’m still stunned.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

        shep will probably get fired

Why does it have to be ignorance, why not intelligence? Is black America, or America itself, any better no that it was 5,6,7 years ago? no. It’s propped up with shaky foundations that are falling as we speak. He’s a punk, and he’s your punk. I hope Obamacare is eating into your wallets, purses, and fanny pack, and I hope it’s painful and will be for a long time, until you grow out of your entitlement attitude

    • nunya

Wow you r in agreement with this lunatic a hole???

      • suburbancuurmudgeon

Doesn’t appear to be. And, there are no nice guys in SC. Too small to be a country; too big to be an asylum.

    • Nancy B

The ignorance in your own “entitlement” statement is pathetic. Do you really think Obama got elected by a bunch of deadbeats for free cell phones? My Obamacare policy is cheaper (including my deductible), and provides better coverage than the policy it replaced. AND I got to keep my doctors. AND I pay every penny of the premiums. AND, I have never taken a dime of benefits from the government in my life.

        ————–,,,,,,,,,,,,,annoying a regressive with FACTS

      • The Roach

That’s great that YOU got all these great things but you are the exception. My employer dropped my insurance and I was thrown into “the 125 million dollar Web site” premiums 45% higher deductible doubled.

      • lindylou

Yeah but what crap did you have before? Were there provisions for catastrophic illness? Would you have been dropped right before/after such a thing? Were pre-existing condiions acceptable?

      • Adam

Quick question, if you don’t mind me asking: What state do you reside in? Here in California, it seems that everyone I know who has had health insurance has seen their plans get upgraded while paying either the same or less. If you live in a “Right to Work” (sorry, holding back the laughter on that!) state, I’d lay the blame squarely on your state’s elected officials.

      • Nancy B

No, I’m not the exception. You had group coverage through an employer. Most likely, they covered part of the premium, and certainly your coverage was discounted because you were in a group. And you probably weren’t charged extra for pre-existing conditions. Now you are paying for the true cost of your coverage. Welcome to my world.

      • The Roach

No as a consultant the only insurance benefit I got was being part of a group plan. IE I paid all of the premiums. When the new plans came our provider said that the ACA would be cheaper than the current plan we were on, would have been, Therefor they stopped offering the group plan. so 45% more expensive than the current plan but cheaper than the proposed plan.
I’ve been in your world my entire professional career. My question is why are there still people who are uninsured. Don’t say its because they don’t want it,

      • Nancy B

I said “most likely” regarding the premium. But getting coverage through a group, your premiums were discounted. Groups are rated differently. And since you were part of a group, no, you weren’t in my world. It was acknowledged up front that everyone wouldn’t end up being covered. A lot of reasons for that.

    • suburbancuurmudgeon

Actually America is far better off than it was in 2009 after Bush wrecked the economy. But you wouldn’t understand that, living in a Red State that gets $1.35 in federal bucks for every $1.00 they pay in. Since I live in Illinois, that means I get to support YOUR entitlement habit.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

        awww,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there U go again::::
annoying a regressive republican with FACTS

      • The Roach

If that is the case why is the African American community suffering so deeply. Highest unemployment rate, highest poverty rate, worst education and health care. Not just in comparison to now but all time. The divide between poor and rich has grown more than any time before. All of the bailouts and infusion of funny money has benefited the rich and mostly the supper rich. But hey you got to keep your doctor so that’s great for you.

    • Yogini

Wow, for a nice guy you sure are hateful!

    • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

im a business owner ( TWO L.L.C.s) and the ACA has not affected me
allow me to ask: what EXACTLY are ” conservatives” conserving???

      • The Roach

So as a business owner how many do you employ? Do you provide health coverage

personal / professional info I do not divulge upon these threads; sorry– (NOTE: I notice that you also did not give any personal info to those above who asked U specific questions; ergo I view U as one dimensional)
I can assure U that all I do is within the legal parameters of the state of florida

      • The Roach

I did answer their question plainly sorry it missed you. I don’t care the name of your supposed business, its a simple unassuming question. Your post says you have 2 LLC’s and if true that is great however if your employee count was less than x amount the ACA would not effect you thus making your comment meaningless.
Whenever I post on these threads I expect personal insults and assumptions about me or anyone else who may have a different opinion than the majority of posters, so your 1 dimensional view of me is expected and not surprising,

u failed to answer my question yet insist I answer yours,,,,,,,,,,,,
that; my dubious friend– is one dimensional

      • The Roach

What? I insisted nothing from, you were unwilling to reveal the size of your business, that you claimed the ACA premiums didn’t increase on. I don’t care if you tell me anything its clear that you, my dubious friend are delusional. What question did you ask of me that I didn’t answer? Honestly who cares

        question was:
what EXACTLY are ‘ conservatives ‘ ( see: regressives) conserving
        specifics; no generalities please

    • Marilyn Olsen Scheffler

To whom is your comment directed?

  • Nemisis

Medical “A-Team” found only on televisions “F-Troop” of news.

  • gatorfan

I really wish that one of these morons would slip up and call the President the “N” word and finally show the world what they’re really thinking. The real key to Ablow’s thinking lies in his statement that Obama “is their leader. We don’t have a President.” This statement comes directly from the right-wing’s refusal to acknowledge that we have a black man in the White House. They can’t stand the fact that we have a black President so, in their minds, if he’s not legitimate (i.e. birthers) then we’ve never “really” had a black President. Ablow’s statement subtly feeds into this way of thinking.

    • If they did use that word, I’m sure the total f_cktard Teabilly party base of the GOP would just stand up and cheer anyway.

      • The Roach

Haven’t they taught you yet that TARD is offensive or is that only important if someone else says it. Got to love the thumbs up vote there. Perfectly fine for the left to use bigoted derogatory language I guess.

    • The Roach

Why is it that progressives and lefty loones are ALWAYS the first to throw the “N” word around or cry race. Don’t you think that its a little pathetic and predictable by now? The minorities have never poorer than under Obama, unemployment for the minorities at all time highs under BO. The African American community is suffering the most yet all I see from the left is blame game, empty excuses and hateful comments. Here is a fun fact, the KKK was started by southern DEMOCRATES.

REINCARNATED DR Josef Magalia This is Beyond Unreasonable This Man is INSANE Totally INSANE . • The Roach

This is such crap all these reports do nothing but continue to divide this country and the lefts hollow disdain for anything that goes against BO is tiring. The stuff that was said about Bush was far worse than anything said about our incompetent president. PS Bush had done more for AIDS and the African people than anybody else period. He is loved by them. What had BO done jack shit. Rachel Madcow is a fading joke. Her numbers are lower than CNN’s worst host and they suck, so why do you all by into the same old race baiting bullshit. Hope and change, hope is gone and change can’t come fast enough.

It is becoming more and more, difficult for me to even think about listening or reading any more teapartyacan bullshit like this. I hope with all my thoughts that people see this on election day.
