Fox News’ Pirro Exploits Our Military To Go Off On Outrageous Anti-Obama Rant (Video)

jeanine-pirro-fox-1After watching a rant by Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro on Monday night, I was quickly compelled to put something together covering the outrageous drivel I had just witnessed. While I’ve used hyperbole before to describe something that I’ve seen on Fox News as being absolutely absurd, I’m not exaggerating when I think this might be one of the most ridiculous segments I’ve ever watched.

She started this rant by covering the story of the U.S. Airways flight attendant who didn’t hang an Army Ranger’s dress jacket in a First Class closet because they claimed this was against company policy. Now, look, I get why this story made news. The flight attendant act like an absolute fool and should be ashamed of themselves. But at the end of the day, it’s one flight attendant who acted on ignorance and a company that should be embarrassed that this happened on one of their flights. Report on it, voice an opinion, and move on.

But that’s not what Pirro did. Oh, no. She spent over six minutes of her show going off about this – six minutes

Now, you might be asking yourself, “How would someone talk about this situation for six minutes? Isn’t it pretty cut and dry?” And you’d be right. Except, Pirro didn’t just talk about what happened on that U.S. Airways flight. Nope. Instead, she used her initial rant about this to segway into some ridiculous nonsense about how this one lone flight attendant’s actions are linked to a general disrespect that the Obama administration, and our government in general, has for our men and women in uniform.

“Surprised, why? This is a tone that’s set in Washington,’ Pirro said. “There’s no respect for the military in this country anymore. Veterans are dying left and right because they can’t get an appointment to see a doctor at a veterans hospital. And to make it worse, the schedulers are lying so that they can get a bonus.”

Then she went on to mention the government shutdown and how war memorials were closed, while the occupy Wall Street “pigs” were allowed to carry out their protests in parks and on our streets. Funny, the Occupy Wall Street protests literally have nothing to do with the government shutdown. The shutdown that was caused by Republicans playing partisan politics.

Then she spends the next couple of minutes attacking the president for downsizing our military (apparently this is a show of disrespect as well), while managing to throw in some fear-mongering about immigration reform and how President Obama is trying to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.

It was at this point I actually started laughing. Somehow what should have been a quick two minute segment concerning the idiocy of a U.S. Airways flight attendant, turned into six minutes of Pirro exploiting our military just to go off on one of her usual anti-Obama fear-mongering rants for which she’s becoming very famous.

Though I don’t recall her saying much of anything earlier this year when Republicans in the Senate blocked a veterans bill.

But then the bottom-feeding Pirro really showed how pathetic she is when she “jokingly” suggested that the best way for U.S. Airways to handle this flight attendant wouldn’t be to fire them, but instead assign them to janitorial duty on every flight leaving West Africa.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that’s a featured personality on Fox News suggesting that the way U.S. Airways should discipline this employee isn’t by letting them go, but by putting them in a position with the company where they could possibly catch Ebola.

It was clear that she exploited this situation with this Army Ranger just to spew more anti-Obama rhetoric.

Was this hyperbole? Probably. But even so, who the hell says something like that? Pirro isn’t some internet troll who goes from site to site posting anonymous messages meant to get people riled up and angry. She’s a featured personality on a major cable news network. It’s absurd for a major news network to allow someone to say such nonsense.

But sadly, reprehensible behavior like this has become commonplace on Fox News. Just ask Eric Bolling.
