Fox News’ Pirro Exploits Our Military To Go Off On Outrageous Anti-Obama Rant (Video)

jeanine-pirro-fox-1After watching a rant by Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro on Monday night, I was quickly compelled to put something together covering the outrageous drivel I had just witnessed. While I’ve used hyperbole before to describe something that I’ve seen on Fox News as being absolutely absurd, I’m not exaggerating when I think this might be one of the most ridiculous segments I’ve ever watched.

She started this rant by covering the story of the U.S. Airways flight attendant who didn’t hang an Army Ranger’s dress jacket in a First Class closet because they claimed this was against company policy. Now, look, I get why this story made news. The flight attendant act like an absolute fool and should be ashamed of themselves. But at the end of the day, it’s one flight attendant who acted on ignorance and a company that should be embarrassed that this happened on one of their flights. Report on it, voice an opinion, and move on.

But that’s not what Pirro did. Oh, no. She spent over six minutes of her show going off about this – six minutes

Now, you might be asking yourself, “How would someone talk about this situation for six minutes? Isn’t it pretty cut and dry?” And you’d be right. Except, Pirro didn’t just talk about what happened on that U.S. Airways flight. Nope. Instead, she used her initial rant about this to segway into some ridiculous nonsense about how this one lone flight attendant’s actions are linked to a general disrespect that the Obama administration, and our government in general, has for our men and women in uniform.

“Surprised, why? This is a tone that’s set in Washington,’ Pirro said. “There’s no respect for the military in this country anymore. Veterans are dying left and right because they can’t get an appointment to see a doctor at a veterans hospital. And to make it worse, the schedulers are lying so that they can get a bonus.”

Then she went on to mention the government shutdown and how war memorials were closed, while the occupy Wall Street “pigs” were allowed to carry out their protests in parks and on our streets. Funny, the Occupy Wall Street protests literally have nothing to do with the government shutdown. The shutdown that was caused by Republicans playing partisan politics.

Then she spends the next couple of minutes attacking the president for downsizing our military (apparently this is a show of disrespect as well), while managing to throw in some fear-mongering about immigration reform and how President Obama is trying to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.

It was at this point I actually started laughing. Somehow what should have been a quick two minute segment concerning the idiocy of a U.S. Airways flight attendant, turned into six minutes of Pirro exploiting our military just to go off on one of her usual anti-Obama fear-mongering rants for which she’s becoming very famous.

Though I don’t recall her saying much of anything earlier this year when Republicans in the Senate blocked a veterans bill.

But then the bottom-feeding Pirro really showed how pathetic she is when she “jokingly” suggested that the best way for U.S. Airways to handle this flight attendant wouldn’t be to fire them, but instead assign them to janitorial duty on every flight leaving West Africa.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that’s a featured personality on Fox News suggesting that the way U.S. Airways should discipline this employee isn’t by letting them go, but by putting them in a position with the company where they could possibly catch Ebola.

It was clear that she exploited this situation with this Army Ranger just to spew more anti-Obama rhetoric.

Was this hyperbole? Probably. But even so, who the hell says something like that? Pirro isn’t some internet troll who goes from site to site posting anonymous messages meant to get people riled up and angry. She’s a featured personality on a major cable news network. It’s absurd for a major news network to allow someone to say such nonsense.

But sadly, reprehensible behavior like this has become commonplace on Fox News. Just ask Eric Bolling.

She is an obnoxious big mouth, Typical for the fox entertainment channel.

  • Steve Brains

“Now, look, I get why this story made news.” I don’t Was the Ranger a First Class passenger? If NOT, she was right! Love to see a single FACT in this entire alleged ‘story’.

    • Brad Rogers

Exactly. You want first class, pay for first class. You think veterans should have been compensated enough to be able to afford it? I agree. But I’ve worked many jobs where I had to follow policy. “Do you have a military discount?” “No. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.”

      • Steve Brains

I think that military Enlisted service and below field grade officer’s should get the pay raise of making then FEDERAL Income Tax EXEMPT. If we can do it for 1000’s who make more than $200,000 annually, we surely can find dime of tax revenue from tariff’s on NAFTA car parts from mexico to cover the expense.

But @ $25,000/yr an Army sergeant with 2 years in (An excellent trooper) would gain an extra months pay if not more by being tax exempt. A career E-7 makes $50,000 grand to be bullet bait and would most likely take home an extra $4000.

You still have to charge them FICA, but hey. A month’s pay is at least 130 cases of Commissary beer for a PFC.

      • Cemetery Girl

This is a situation where sometimes the rules could be bent, sometimes. Even when you respect military service, it doesn’t mean you can always bend the rules.

  • Macdoodle

Ask any active military serviceman what they think of Obama and see what they say to you.

    • surfjac

And do you think they all despise Obama?
Overall, 32% are on Obama’s side and Sixty-five percent of post-9/11 veterans say that Bush was a good
commander in chief while just 42 percent say the same of Obama. That
lopsided preference comes despite veterans’ lukewarm assessments of the wars begun under Bush’s watch. So Obama is not as popular as the man who destined thousands in the military to die, tens of thousands maimed and a million dead, in two wars paid for with a credit card that was fucked up when he was sworn in. I don’t think I’ll hold it against him since one of the bush wars created most of Obama’s current problems.

    • Steve Brains

The military has the same % approval as Civilians. On the same age curve as them too. I wonder how much the Fox Fixtion which is more available to Overseas serve persons than any network save AFN has to do with that?

    • Justin Ballard

      Ok. I’ll bite. Ask me.

      • FuzzyBunnyFeet

Justin Ballard, what do you think of President Obama?

      • Justin Ballard

Having voted for him twice, I’m a staunch supporter of this president and MOST of his policies, as are many of my comrades. (Although to be fair… medics and others of our ilk tend to lean liberal while most of the infantry and artillery guys I’ve met tend toward the conservative side. of course you’ve got exceptions across the board. My old PA was a BIG conservative. I enjoyed living with him on our little COP in Afghanistan during election season in 2012. Those were good times.

Anyhow… “Ask any service member” sounds like some dumb shit that Fox news shat out and the above poster lapped up happily. Newsflash. We’re not props, and not all of us agree with you.

      • Steve Dzielak

Hmmm…”Justin Ballard” sounds like some kind’a furrin’ name. Where ya from, Son? Costa Qatar Emirates or Sierra Uzbekhistan or whut?????

      • Justin Ballard

Well I currently live in Brownbackistan. It’s rough here.

    • Steve Dzielak

ANY??? How all-knowing are you? And besides, what’s your point? Not to mention: “active military service PERSONNEL” aren’t semi-divine-near-perfect-well-informed-sharp-thinking-better-than-the-rest, so why should I care more or less what they think of Obama?

  • katherine norton malek

Candidate for a psyche ward or heavy meds. This woman is a self glorified shock jock. Her desperate attempt @ political relevance is pathetic.

  • Dave

As Jon Stewart would say…. “Fuck them and their false patriotism”!

  • Regina Arrendell

This Pirro person is just one more right-fighting, hateful, and probably doesn’t like black folk., She touts the military….except when her beloved Repulicans do everything in their power to hurt, in stead of help, the military. They are just wonderful until they need medical help then god forbid that the goverment pays for it or gives the VA more to make things better. You can carry on about how long it takes for someone to see a doctor, but you certainly, as a Republican, want to pay for better resources. The whole mess is ridiculous and in my estamation, just plain old hate with a bit of entitlement thrown in for good messure…I’m rich, my cronies are rich and we don’t give a damn about anyone who isn’t of a like notion. I don’t watch Fox New so I have no clue who this fool is, but I’m sure she is a part of the crazies like Hasellback (sp?) who have brains, but don’t use them! They just Stepford it threw life!

  • Grumpmaster_Zz

    Segue, not Segway

    • Steve Brains

He was right!!! Pirro read that Degway al the way into Bullsh*ttown.

  • Bud

Fox is a major cable network. Please don’t refer to them as a major cable “news” network. They deliver opinion and propaganda, NOT news.

    • Steve Brains

      Fox Fixtion.

    • Eg Kbbs

And don’t forget, that when it was found that Faux Viewers were more likely to have UN-factual opinions (such as insisting that there were WMDs found in Iraq), Faux went to court and successfully argued that they are NOT a NEWs outlet but an ENTERTAINMENT outlet.

    • Brian

They don’t even refer to themselves as news in the legal sense anymore. They’ve been accused of downright sedition before, and when that happens, they call themselves “entertainment” rather than news.

  • surfjac

“Pirro isn’t some internet troll who goes from site to site posting anonymous
messages meant to get people riled up and angry.”
Yes she is, maybe not the “site to site anonymous posting”, just spewing vomit on fox.

  • RSW

This woman has to be one of the stupidest, most obnoxious asses I’ve ever listened to.

  • Alex

    what an idiot.

  • Eg Kbbs

First paragraph states, “Judge Jeanine Pirro”. Please tell me this is an error and this idiot isn’t a judge! I hate to ask: what area thinks that she is a good choice to be a judge ?

Plus, shouldn’t it be a breach of ethics for a judge to be a host on such a biased channel, spewing such a heavy political agenda ?

    • Charles Vincent

      A) She was a judge as in past tense. her career is quite distinguished. you can look it up so stop being a lazy turd.
      B) see answer A

  • Eg Kbbs

OT: yesterday had news clips of Pope exiting the building with the Swiss Guard saluting. Pope interrupted their salute by shaking their hands.

How come there is no conservative outcry over the Pope showing disrespect to the Swiss Guard ?

  • chaserblue

The real insult to our men and women in uniform is the abysmal voting record of the GOP on issues to help veterans and military families. At least, that’s where I believe the greater insult comes from.

  • BillC

Meh. They’re just trying to keep their based riled up for the mid-terms. The knuckle-draggers believe everything they hear on Fox “news” and will force their wife and cousin (one and the same person) off to vote for the GOTP. The GOTP, after all, have these teabilly peasant’s best interests at heart when giving even more tax breaks to their multi-billionaire backers.

  • aka Eric Blair

Pirro has that wild eyed Charles Manson look. Kind of like someone who has received a hard blow to the head. Her Obama derangement syndrome is obviously out of control and she needs some time out of the spotlight IMHO. I don’t like to resort to the use of the “C” word, but I will make an exception for this POS.

  • MS

This woman needs medicating. As UNBABALANCED as they come. This was one bad seed, ONE bad employee. Seriously, REALLY? Shut up your “not so intelligent” mouth. B#tch.

  • BlueLion

Did the army ever confirmed this solider was real? I’ve served and been traveling for 40 plus years and I have never seen an Army solider wearing his dress blue uniform on a commercial or military flight. Personally my gut tells me this guy was a fake.

  • Cooper

It is remarkable how any event, however apparently unrelated, gets twisted around to come back to something related to Obama’s incompetence, lack of respect for the country, weakness…yada yada yada…
I can’t wait for him to attend his next fundraiser: “Why is he out there glad handing all those people with everything that is going on both here and in the world? He should be sequestered in the Oval Office. And by the way, we’ll all be dead from Ebola within months. Why didn’t Obama stop this virus?” Or something like that.

  • Rick Flash

She just sounds insane, no matter what she’s talking about.

  • Brian

Wow. Hats off. That was the single most impressive, self-derailing, rapid subject changing, incoherent, irresponsible, seditious, poorly thought out run on I have ever heard. I have just taken an IQ test and my IQ seems to have actually dropped a few points by listening to this glorious caricature that perfectly and magnificently represents every single stereotype a classical liberal, or even a neoliberal for that matter, has about neoconservatives, fascist propagandists.
Never in my life have I heard such a rant. I am simply dumbfounded. Bravo, Fox News, bravo.

  • scott

Allen please don’t don’t re post these disgusting videos of fox reporters! Thank you in advance!

  • Richard Mcgee

I do not have a problem with the military my father was a veteran of the Korean War but not since World War 2 has the military fought for my freedom they have fought for corporations and corporations hold on oil. I know I will catch hell for this but I have never felt personally threatened by an Asian or Middle Eastern person in my 52 years on this planet

    • OpenMinded

This is so on point! I’ve spent almost a year in the Middle East as a civilian, most of it in Afghanistan. Never once have I feared for my life. I’ve seen the results of a few rocket attacks, but even during this last election, I wan’t in any way threatened. If anything, most of them are more kind and respectful than many of the American I deal with back home.

  • JanMutcher

    Does she drink?

  • Wiccy Shackleton

She handled the situation badly, she should have first asked her immediate superior on board the flight, it was not a big request, and could easily have been accomodated. As for this whining judge on fox news however, shes being way over the top on this. Yes the employee needs a talking to over her actions, and yes the airline needs to make amends for the ensuing embarrasement caused to this veteran by the results of her actions, but this is solely an issue for the airline in question to deal with, and is not obama’s fault.

  • MrLightRail

I was at a McDonald’s in Stigler, OK, and Pirro was on the TV there, making her bullshit statements (sound muted, but on closed caption) I asked the manager to change the channel, and he stated that the owner required the TV to be on Fox News. Complained to corporate, and got a call the following Monday morning from the general manager, profusely apologizing for their staff’s comments. I’ll be back in a week or so, and see if they actually will change the channel if Fox is playing.
