Jon Stewart Blasts Republicans, Sarah Palin’s ‘Bullsh*t’ Talk of Tyranny and Impeachment (Video)

stewart-palinWhile I’ve typically always disagreed with Republicans most of my life, I’ve never seen the type of ridiculousness that I’ve seen the last few years.  Who knew electing our first African American president would cause so many conservatives to just snap?

Because that’s essentially what they’ve done.  Facts have become opinions and what they want to believe matters more than actual reality.

President Obama, according to Republicans, has somehow managed to be a combination of some power hungry dictator king socialist communist Marxist racist radical Christian Muslim.  He’s also managed to manipulate the IRS, coordinate with the Muslim Brotherhood, fake birth certificates, manufacture false jobs numbers and somehow managed to cause our economic crash before he ever became president.

Oh, and he’s also been weak.

At this point, I’ve forgotten more reasons Republicans have tried to come up with to impeach him than I can actually remember.

It’s all honestly become completely comical.  Like a spoiled child throwing a hissy fit because they didn’t get their way.

And this ridiculousness is what Jon Stewart targeted last night when he essentially called much of this ongoing Republican propaganda “bullsh*t.”

He tore into their numerous calls for Obama’s impeachment while never once actually following through with it.

And why haven’t they followed through with it?  Because polling numbers say that by doing so it might galvanize liberal voters and alienate Republican candidates heading into this year’s midterm elections.

“That’s how you know all this talk of tyranny is bullsh*t,” he said. “When your main concern when you’re deposing a tyrant is how it will affect your party’s chances in the upcoming midterm elections, that’s not tyranny.”

He also had a few choice words for Sarah Palin.

“If I may, it appears ex-Governor Palin has finally finished with mangling the English language, and has moved on to making Spanish incomprehensible,” Stewart continued. “She’s like a serial killer of language. Or whatever the opposite of a Rosetta Stone is.”

Finally he went after the pointless lawsuit Boehner has filed against the Obama administration.

Stewart said mockingly, “Let me get this straight: the GOP is going to take down our dictator-in-chief with a civil suit accusing him of not properly executing a law they themselves have tried more than 50 times to partly or completely repeal.”

As usual, Jon Stewart hits a home run in exposing hypocrisy and stupidity.

The problem is conservatives will never hear any of this.  And even if they do, they don’t believe it.  I can’t count the number of times I’ve had debates with conservatives where their arguments weren’t just slightly wrong – they weren’t even based on reality.

They’ve created the perfect information bubble where all they believe is what’s inside of it (the conservative media) and anything outside of it is nothing but liberal lies and propaganda.

It’s a combination that makes it almost impossible to get these people to believe anything.

But no matter what they believe, or don’t believe, it doesn’t matter.  Because that’s the great thing about reality, it’s real whether they want to believe in it or not.

  • They will all change once Obama is out of office. The hoarded money will be released, much needed investment in infrastructure will be turned loose, and the Federal government will hire more people to get the necessary work done. It’s all about trying to make this President fail. He has done wonders in the face of insurmountable opposition. He will be the FDR of our times thanks to the Republicans. The history they have created will be the history they hate.

And 10% of the 47%who voted for Romney because Obama is a BLACK Muslim Terrorist Socialist Commie… won’t have to vote their racism as a Republican with a WHITE woman to vote for. So that’s gonna make it 57-43 Wednesday morning.

Then ALL those who regret NOT supporting Hillary in 2008 will step up, the one’s who didn’t vote in 2010 and 2012. Those who now realize NOT voting is letting another choose for you. Like in Oklahoma, where to get an abortion in the single clinic left, you have to agree to be MECHANICALLY RAPED for no medical reason AND watch the video feed of it LIVE while hearing the parasite’s heartbeat and bible verses.

60/40 of worse for the REDS…

Wait, I didn’t include the fact that NOT ONE capable, unblemished RED reject candidate is available. NO ONE wants ANOTHER Bush, Christie is going to JAIL!!! Palin is only a Facebook hero. Rubio SOLD HIS OWN RACE OUT!!! Jindal? Scott? Ryan?

Does anyone wanna go out in the desert and dig up McCain?

2-1 Democrats, AND they take the house back!

Well, it’s times like these when I PRAY for a little tyranny. BEcause if Obama WERE a tyrant dictator emperor king… (even if her weren’t a socialist, fascist or commie one) Palin would be In Guantanamo with Ted Cruz and Beohner would be putting bills on th floor for a vote by the dozen.

He’d be in the Senate cloak room on his KNEES suck Harry Reid off for more bills….

ted cruz will soon be out of a job and doing FOX “news” contributing,,,,,,,,,,

    • Jo Clark

I hope you are right, but I have my doubts. They hate Obama, but the next thing on their hate list is a WOMAN with the balls to actually run for President!! Uppity! Doesn’t she know her place?

Just like the meme floating around, 2016, when the racists all magically transform into misogynists.

We’re already seeing it, the attacks on Hillary Clinton.

Where was all this impeachment talk of theirs when bush’s medicare part d rolled out just as shaky?

    • Stephen Barlow

That’s not what it is about. It’s about the GALL of a president, who hijacked their national Platform and FORCED them to VOTE NO!!!! to their own policies. Then turned around and granted the EXACT SAME EXTENSION the Reds used as the last ditch bargaining ship to dave face then the Reds CLOSED THE GOVERNMENT DOWN!

I didn’t see it then, but that was a burst of diahhrea in the salad tossing mouth of the Faux-repentantly, determinedly recalicatrant GOP. I am just laughing because it took THIS long for Boehner to taste that shit!!!!

    • Stephen Barlow

no no no! Medicare D took 3 years to get right, it took the first year to just identify the bugs in the system.

  • iheardu2

You are right (sem112). And Conservatives also hate they didn’t vote for ACA which helped Americans who needed affordable health care insurance. History was made in 2010 that will show the GOP/Tea Party/Conservatives failed as a party for the American people, but was and still are for the rich and super rich.

  • Stephen Barlow

Which is the base going to be happier to support, the threat of impeachment, or having John Stewart testifying ““That’s how you know all this talk of tyranny is bullsh*t,” he said. “When your main concern when you’re deposing a tyrant is how it will affect your party’s chances in the upcoming midterm elections, that’s not tyranny.” and ““Let me get this straight: the GOP is going to take down our dictator-in-chief with a civil suit accusing him of not properly executing a law they themselves have tried more than 50 times to partly or completely repeal.”

They can ONLY convict themselves in genuine impeachment. The “no longer bound by racism” Republican RINO faction, the ‘moderate Conservative independents” and the millenial voters who are suffering with massive, unrequited student debt AND NO JOBS because the bills are sitting on “ShutDown John’s” DESK… Will be LESS impressed when the Republicans make this promise, and then as ‘I am An American!’ Randy Weber said, “Well… We really LIED AGAIN, we only want to stir up the base. There won’t be any Impeachment. Just like we never intended to create jobs, or reform immigration, or balance the budget, or cut taxes, or do anything EXCEPT attempt to repudiate a NONWHITE who makes us all look stupid and greedy.”

EXPECT Hillary, 2-1 in 2016. But the light on the horizon is, the Imhofe’s and Coburn’s and Grassley’s and McConnell’s will be GONE.

And If Boehner doesn’t come across with this lawsuit, these impotent old geezers in the GOP will fare even worse, because their failure to ‘get it up’ will have their young darlings crying in the bathroom because they REALIZED they only married the Grand Old Elephant for his money.

But, because the suit is only a STUNT, he’ll file it in September and it MIGHT get on a docket in 2016… Because the REDS have conveniently left 90 open judgeships for 6 years.

The GOP is ALL propaganda and slogans. Reminds Me of Mao’s Regime in 1950’s Communist China.
