Are You Kidding Me? Ted Nugent Didn’t “Apologize” for a Damn Thing

ted-nugent-idiotWhen I first came across a few headlines that read something like “Ted Nugent Apologizes for Using Slur,” I just had to find out exactly what this raving lunatic said.  There was no way I believed that this parasite actually apologized to President Obama for using a slur (“subhuman mongrel”) that was commonly used by Nazis when referencing Jews.

Then I read what he said, and it was exactly what I had expected.

My following anger wasn’t solely directed at him, but also at the numerous media outlets who actually called this an “apology” in their headline.

Ted Nugent didn’t apologize for a damn thing.

This is what he said:

“I do apologize, not necessarily to the president, but on behalf of much better men than myself.”

What the hell does that even mean?

He called the President of the United States a “subhuman mongrel” (a Nazi slur) and then he “apologized” for saying it not to the man he insulted – but on behalf of “better men” than himself?

Being a “better man” than Ted Nugent is setting the bar pretty damn low.  When you’re a draft dodging pedophile, you’re pretty much at the bottom rung of the human species.

And if he’s not apologizing to President Obama, then what’s he “apologizing” for?   You don’t call someone a disgusting name, then apologize to nobody.

This was clearly him saying “sorry” for the sake of saying sorry because some Republicans had probably told him he needed to publicly apologize for his remarks.

Except, he didn’t apologize.

Nugent could have acted like a man for once in his life and simply said he was wrong and apologized to the President of the United States.  It takes a bigger man to make a mistake and then admit that you were wrong, than it does to make an ass out of yourself and continue to bash the person you were insulting.  Which is exactly what Nugent continued to do.

He said that he was using, “the streetfighter terminology of ‘subhuman mongrel’ instead of just using more understandable language, such as ‘violator of his own … Constitution.’ The liar that he is.”

Nothing quite like “apologizing” and then continuing to attack the person to which you were supposedly apologizing.

Then again, what should any of us expect from someone who urinated and defecated in their pants to avoid going to Vietnam, wrote a song expressing his sexual desire for a 13-year-old girl, then admitted later to having an addiction to sex with underaged girls.

But anyone calling what Nugent said an “apology” is out of their minds.  This wasn’t an apology.  Simply including the word “sorry” in a statement doesn’t make someone remorseful.

Ted Nugent is a disgusting excuse for a human being.  Anyone supporting this draft dodging sexual predator should be ashamed and embarrassed of themselves.  But I guess millions of Americans care about supporting some gun nut who hates the president more than they care about condemning a pedophile.

And that tells me all I need to know about “conservative values.

Actions speak louder than words. The word “sorry” uttered in a sentence is widely overused when there is nothing behind it. This jerk is a poor excuse for a man. What he thinks is irrelevant. The GOP, on the other hand , is hypocritical because they have this big loathing for homosexuals, but revere this sexually deviant prvert.

Considering the filth mr. nugent has not only spewed but spread on himself so to convince everyone that mattered he was insane to avoid military service, why would anyone, anyone? listen or bother with anything he has to say?
A non-apology apology, gee, whooda’ thunk it?

  • Sam

Since the “military people” I know, usually seem to be very “pro-Republican/GOP”, I am stunned that they seem to be silent about “draft dodger”, Ted Nugent, being a representative for the Republican party. I would think they would be furious at this choice.

The issue of service in Viet Nam was a hot topic for Clinton. However, it totally disappeared in the late 1990s – specifically when GWB’s service record was noted as being questionable. IOKIYAR.

Perhaps parallel to all the vitriol spewed at sexual predators but no mention of Nugent’s past in that regard.

      • Sam

Everything the Republicans do, or don’t do, these days, just makes no sense to me whatsoever.

      • Dana

And Clinton was not draft-dodging. What were people supposed to do back then, stop going to school so poor widdle Uncle Sam could draft whomever he wanted?

GWB went AWOL for a year. That’s not something Dan Rather made up, that’s been known for years and was brought up during his original 2000 campaign. A draft-dodger, well, you could argue merits vs drawbacks one way or the other because there are moral wars, there are immoral wars, and if you haven’t taken the oath yet, you’ve broken nothing. But an AWOL? In time of war? Slam his sorry a** up against the wall and be done with it already.

And THEN Shrub went on to murder lots and lots of other troops in two pointless wars, and now he’s lecturing us on how to talk about PTSD–a condition he caused in thousands through his crappy-a** leadership. Do tell.

This guy is pathetic completely and I don’t agree with Obama ether but any acknowledgment that Obama gives to this guy is retarded and unneeded. Ted is just looking for someone to pay attention to him he has nothing valid or relevant to say he just been out of the news for too long and needs attention. Obama shouldn’t even think about this piece of shit it would just be a waste of time, cause even if he did argue back and make Ted look like the bitch he is, at the end if the day you wasted time on shit

  • John G.

Why is he still a news item? He’s a non-entity and does not deserve the recognition given to him.

    • Pipercat

I would have to imagine that is up to General Abbott and his campaign or any other would-be seeker of higher office that uses him as a stooge.

    • Bonta-kun

The only recognition he deserves is the kind that comes with thick iron bars on the windows. Vile waste of blood and organs.

  • Sunny Ray

This whole thing shows how deep gangrene is spreading, and you know the only way to get rid of it, cut it off! So I wouldn’t let him talk anymore, IMO freedom of speech doesn’t apply to proud pedophile.

  • Emmett Williams

How can someone who preys on under age girls and have 5 illegitimate children call anyone subhuman.

    • Dana

You could have stopped at “preys on underage [it’s one word] girls” and that would have been sufficient. There is no such thing as an illegitimate child, and no sin in not being married to the other parent of your children, as long as you are ensuring the children are cared for.

(Now, if he didn’t do *that*, by all means let loose on him.)

  • thomasbone63

No one needs or expect an apology from this animal. He’s ignorant and dose not deserve the platform the media is giving him. What a vile piece of shi*. Whomever campaigns with this shi* dose not deserve the office they are persuing.

  • Aric Phillips

Where are all of the trolls at on this one?

  • Michael Siever

What he meant by saying “sorry” is “I am a sorry excuse of a human being”…

  • Edward Krebbs

Only thing that makes it worse is that between the statement and the “apology” we were treated to a week of right wingers defending him including Abbot, Palin, and Bachman. Makes it pretty clear that they REALLY support his views.

  • Chris H

seems to me he is an eye for an eye type and anyone that has anything negatives to say back is the same way 😉

  • Richard Smothers

There’s a difference between an apology and just expressing regret that you were castigated by people who didn’t like what you said.

He needs to crawl back under the rock from whence he came.

Yeah, I agreed with this article. I actually did have difficult to understanding the logic of major media calling Ted Nugent’s apology a sincere and actual because I don’t see any real apologization toward President Obama, his First Family, and African-Americans across the nation.

Ted Nugent is a coward racist.

    • John Doeman

Those who call people racist are usually jewish, black, hispanic or some other minority. Which one are you?

      • Avatar

I’m white dude and that is none of your concern. This article is already ancient Stone Age. Learn to move on.

      • Avatar

I couldn’t help it but think about your question today. I realize that you are having hard time to admit that it’s us, the whites, are world’s worst racist and mass murderers. We are weakest and inferior race. I want to be direct to your question, it’s the fucking most stupid thing I’ve ever seen.

  • Dana

He’s basically saying, “I’m sorry that what I said about Obama is blowing back now on some Republicans I like who are running for office. My bad.”

  • CplSkiUSMC

Ted Nugent is a better man than you liberal faggots could ever hope to be. You can’t stand the fact that he would voice his opinion and then not back down when all of you bitches whine and cry about it. Don’t like it? Too bad! Any of you cock suckers who think you’re bad ass enough to shut him (or me) up are welcome to try! Now go eat a bucket of shit and choke to death you whiny disgusting spineless weasels.

Willie Nelson, Connie Britton, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and many other well known Texans campaigned and rooting for Wendy Davis. Two of them are admitted Republicans. Greg Abbott campaign with Ted Nugent, a well known child predator, draft dodger, crapped his pants, threaten Obama almost daily, and worst part of all, he admit he is an insane person. How can you blame Liberals if Teddie Nugent confessed? You have no logic to articulate political discussions.
