NRA Hero Ted Nugent Says Poor People Need to Stop Whining, Being Stupid

ted-nugent-greg-abbottIt’s been a while since we’ve heard from the self-admitted pedophile Ted Nugent, but we had to know it was only a matter of time before this disgusting human being made news again.

This time the NRA hero, and Greg Abbott ally, decided to attack the poor.  Because what a draft-dodging, deadbeat dad who once said he was obsessed with underaged girls should really be doing is judging other people, right?

Nugent wrote a column titled America’s Whining ‘Poor’ — And Other Conundrums where he said:

As the Democrats continue to get away with their crimes, the squawking poor just keep on getting poorer, and as is always the case, they have no one to blame but themselves. Stupid is as stupid does. Brainwashing only works if you give up your brain and your soul to the brainwashers.

Another mind-boggling conundrum is the fact that America’s so-called poor live a life far better than do real poor people around the world and have luxuries they can only dream of.

With their cell phones, automobiles, microwave ovens, air-conditioning, new clothes, manicures and pedicures, bling-bling, clean water, more food than they can eat, pretty much redistributed everything handed to them, they still whine how America should be more like those other countries.

Classy as always.

How dare poor people enjoy such luxuries as air conditioning, clean water, food, clothes, a microwave and some form of transportation to get to work?!

By his “logic” the poor in America shouldn’t whine because, well, they could always be living in Somalia, right?  You know, the country with small government, low taxes and practically no laws on firearms.  Heck, isn’t that exactly the type of country Nugent, and people like him, seems to want to turn this country into?

But as someone who grew up dirt poor, his comments are absolutely disgusting.  While it’s indisputable that there are some people who abuse our welfare system in this country, most poor people are just trying to survive with a little dignity.  Millions of parents who rely on government assistance to take care of their families have full-time jobs.  Though it seems Nugent believes that people are poor because they’re lazy, looking for a handout.

Then to basically call poor people stupid is simply pathetic.

Especially coming from someone as disgusting as Ted Nugent.

It never ceases to amaze me how someone who defecated on himself to avoid defending his country during the Vietnam War, admitted to having an obsession with underaged girls and fathered several illegitimate kids (while having to be taken to court to pay child support on one) has the nerve to judge anyone else.

Nugent is one of the most vile, disgusting creatures (I hesitate to even call him human) that I’ve ever witnessed.  Anyone who supports this reprehensible individual should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

And to think, Greg Abbott actually proudly campaigned with this jackass.  Then again, Abbott’s the person who thinks the best way for Texans to identify dangerous chemical companies in their neighborhoods is to just “drive around.”  And we saw how well that went.

So I guess to other scumbags, someone like Ted Nugent just fits right in.

First of all, a hero is a fireman who risks his life to save the lives of others, a hero is a policeman who do the same, heroes are those in the Military who put their lives on the line of fire so we can enjoy our freedom. Ted Nugent is the antithesis of all of the above. So I take issue with those calling him a hero. That tittle is reserved for the braves. Second, isn’t most of the Red States live under the guidelines of poverty as defined by the Federal Government? And third, Ted Nugent is an attention seeking idiot undeserving of the spot light.

  • SalubriousET

My Dad always says, “don’t be stupid”. Ted Nugent, you were poor for awhile, so take your own advice and stop whining and “don’t be stupid”…

    • JDon357

Sal, you should have listened to your Dad.

    #1 – Don’t be poor

Easy for some people, we will always have workers, cooks, custodial. Their working two jobs at min wage and still need assistance. They are getting farther and farther behind while the wealthy earnings have have grown 450%. They don’t want to be poor or receive a handout. They just want a level playing field and a fair share. But they can’t buy legislators like the wealthy do. Meanwhile the wealthy get tax breaks in the billions and corporations making billions in profit each quarter get billions in subsidies from tax payers all the while the billionaires sock money away overseas cost trillions in lost revenues. And some complain about the free loaders, welfare recipients who get 10 million to feed their kids. Either giver them a raise or keep them on welfare. Look again at the welfare going to corporations..

      • JDon357

OWS – yes let’s increase the minimum wage 40% like Barry wants, and pushed part way through executive order. Problem is – when you go up 40%, most of the people you work with who have more experience and maybe even graduated from HS, will have to be increased. Then, the people who really busted their chops and got a college degree will be making less than all of you – so they’ll have to get a pay increase.
Have you considered what fuels inflation? Do you think you should have the same life style as someone with an MBA?
If you do – you are a Socialist.

What separates those who succeed from those who do not? Race? no.. Gender? No.. Geographical area? No.. What separates those who succeed from those who do not is the will to do what is necessary to succeed and take responsibility for their failures.. Something that the messiah of liberals knows nothing about.. I don’t owe the poor anything.. if a person wants more in life they should work smarter and harder..but many just hope that the liberals in government will steal from those who do work and give it to those who do not. Broke is a money problem and poor is a state of mind.

… And who cares about what he says ? Nothing better to talk about?

    • Raymond Hamlett

Well, it’s just that so many people worship him and listen and believe his shit!

Precisely, he doesn’t need more exposure…

Seems to me that Nuggent is a pro at whining and being stupid.

Transferrence ? Projection ? Some other psych mechanism to keep himself from recognizing what he is ?

  • Matthew Burrows

Is Ted Nugent real…no one can be that much of a right wing arsehole.

    • Linda Kay Reheard

No one can be that stupid and live, can they?

      • JDon357

LKR, What exactly is your point? Can you communicate in more than one vague sentence? Do you think only one sentence at a time? Or do you only get paid for one sentence posts?

      • J.t. Coleman

You were alive when you posted your apparently the answer is YES!

    • kobrien674

No, but you left wing progressive cultist zealots sure can.

“NRA Hero Ted Nugent Says Poor People Need to Stop Whining, Being Stupid”

Just saw a map last night of the poverty in America, and considering it showed an enormous swath of the southern states as comprising the poverty stricken areas, I wonder if Ted’s “base” is listening to him.

    • kobrien674

Spoken like a true hateful progressive cultist. Go read a good book. The Idiot Vote: The Democrats Core Constituency by Harry Stein

What can be expected from the lyrical genius that wrote “wang dang sweet poontang” I bet Bob Dylan is jealous…..

        Truth doesn’t change.

      • Curtis Scarbrough

You’re taking Ted Nugent’s side. What could you possibly know about truth?

  • MLR

Ted Nugent is right, poor people need to stop whining and get off their ass and start voting the bums out of office. They need to start getting pissed off at being the constant punching bag of right-wing a***holes like him. What doesn’t make sense to me is a lot of their base lives in poverty. Conservatives make it sound like only liberals live in poverty and they need to wake up because nothing could be further from the truth.

  • Ram Garcia

As the leader of the group moms with guns said…, “Where’s an assassin when you need one”….

    • kobrien674

You too. Spoken like a true hateful progressive cultist.

  • Mark

I guess Ted’s not bright enough to realize that most of the money in his pockets came from us common and blue collar folks buying his records and concert tickets. That’s some of that trickle up economics making ungrateful asses like Nugent rich.

    • kobrien674

Spoken like a true hateful progressive cultist.

  • The liberals who post in the Buffalo News need to stop whining and being so stupid.

  • Curtis Scarbrough

There are very few people whose deaths I would see as cause for celebration. But Ted Nugent is most certainly one of them

    • kobrien674

Spoken like a true progressive. I feel sorry for you.

      • Curtis Scarbrough

You feel sorry for me because I despise someone who spreads hate?

      • Kevin G O’Brien

In that case your self loathing is your business.

      • Curtis Scarbrough

My question is, why are you defending this piece of filth?

  • JDon357

I guess it’s OK for liberal legislators from CA to tell her fellow lawmakers to stop whining about ObamaCare, but a citizen can’t tell people who have viewed welfare as a career choice for generations to get off their lazy butts.
If you don’t finish high school – you made a bad choice, and I’m tired of paying for it. Especially with the Social Democrats smuggling in millions of people who have zero job skills, no ability to communicate in englisy – and yet BHO wants to give them work visas. I’m guessing he’ll tell the Bureau of Labor and Statistics to exempt them from being considered ‘unemployed’ though. Ted Nugent believes in personal responsibility – the anti-thesis of what Socialists need to get elected.

  • kobrien674

Progressivism is a mean, vitriolic, hateful cult. This story just demonstrates it. Their core base are idiots who are low info voters. Want to read a good book? Try: The Idiot Vote: The Democrats’ Core Constituency, by Harry Stein
