Ted Cruz’s Father: If Hillary Clinton Is Elected, Kiss The United States Goodbye (Video)

rafaelcruzBy now most people are well aware that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced his candidacy for president a few weeks back. While the news came as a shock to almost no one, it did “officially” began the Texas senator’s campaign.

I was actually discussing with a friend the other day how terrifying it is to think of this country with Cruz as president. While I know it will never happen, I’m not exaggerating when I say that just contemplating what it might be like nearly drove me to cold sweats.

But if you want a really good insight as to just how radical Cruz is, look no further than his father, Rafael Cruz. This man, in my opinion, is absolutely nuts. He once claimed that there’s no scientific evidence supporting the theory of evolution, while equating the belief in it to communism.

No, I’m not joking.

He also once said that President Obama was working to “seize” our guns and that liberals were pushing to do away with the Bill of Rights.

This is a man who Ted Cruz often sends out speak on his behalf if he’s unable to attend a certain event. So, basically, when Rafael Cruz says these sorts of crazy comments, they’re endorsed by his son.

Well, during a speech at a tea party event in Georgia, the elder Cruz went off on an anti-Hillary Clinton rant, saying that if she’s elected, we can “kiss this country goodbye.”

“Let me tell you, if we have someone like Hillary Clinton elected in 2016, you might as well kiss this country goodbye, this country’s gone. We are fighting for the survival of America,” he said.

Isn’t this the exact same crap conservatives like Rafael Cruz have been saying about President Obama for the last 6+ years? My question is, how much does the economy have to improve and the United States, you know, not vanish into a fiery oblivion before conservatives start realize these fear-mongering fools are full of crap?

It’s like the nonsense the NRA has been pushing since 2008. Since President Obama was elected, they’ve constantly claimed his administration is out to confiscate guns – and it’s literally never even come close to happening. But that hasn’t stopped millions of conservatives from believing that this mythical gun confiscation is imminent, causing huge spikes in gun and ammo sales – which was the whole point of the NRA pushing their lies to begin with.

It really is like manipulating children. It’s amazing to me that conservatives fail to see how much they’re being played by this fear-mongering from the GOP that almost always promises some apocalyptic sounding nightmare, which ultimately never comes true.

Now that President Obama’s time in the White House is coming to an end, it looks like it’s going to be more of the same old crap from these Republicans – they’re just going to replace “President Obama” with “Hillary Clinton.”

It’s just astonishing to me how dumb Republicans treat their voters, and how eager conservatives seem to embrace those who clearly treat them like they’re absolute idiots.

Maybe he should “kiss this country goodbye” and GTFO. Cuba or Toronto would probably be his first stop.

    • CanisRattusImperator

Or he can just stay here and wait for the Dems to turn this country into Cuba.

Granny Clinton has escaped the nursing home, stolen their van and is on a cross-country mission to bore this once great nation into extinction!

himself. wake up, pry your eyes off the conservative we make you
retarded “news” boob tube and get with the real picture. the left is
trying to help us strive to be a great country again. the right is from
what i have seen since the first bush trying to make us a third world
country. only out to help the rich and fu*k anybody over who tries to
stop them. you vote red and the country will nosedive back to the
      FAILED Bush days.

Clinton got lucky and was in office during the dot com boom… was nothing he did. Reagan took over the mess that Jimmy Carter left and managed to turn it in to a robust economy, that Bush the elder let the dems talk him into killing the momentum. Then Clinton gets in and got lucky with the tech and dot come boom. But actually now days you would think the Bill Clinton of the 90s was too conservative. Under Obama, the top 1% are only ones that have seen their earnings increase… the median income for everyone else has fallen, in real numbers, not just inflation adjusted dollars, but in actual dollars. If you donate enough to dems, you get “too big to fail” status and a big dose of corporate welfare..I know you want to relive those thrilling days of yesteryear called the 60s, well not gonna happen…the left is the establishment now.. they have the white house.. the courts, and the media.. and the bureaucracies…. that makes them the establishment… Conservatives are the anti establishment now. Since you are the establishment, you broke it. We are trying to fix it.

      • david morelli

LOL. You do realize that Reagan “managed to turn it in to a robust economy” by expanding the scope of the federal government through EIGHT years of deficit spending, and in the process he TRIPLED the national debt.

      • Frank DiChutney

Obama’s Zero Interest Rate Growth policy is trickle down, too, bonehead. It’s only benefitting those who own stocks. Those 10% who are being made wealthier are not spending like they used to and Onama’s trickle down isn’t working either.

Read Stockman’s blog and learn something. Here’s his latest on the subject-

Hillary Clinton: Class President Of A Failed Generation

      • shmooney

David Stockman? Who helped get trickle down economics on the books for Reagan? Did you notice that Republicans vote against anything that actually help people? But if you’re in the top 5% you’re golden. Yeah, it sounds like Obama’s fault.

      • Randy Nichols

Since I know you love the growth of government, you should be all for the Reagan process. Reagan’s whole term he had a democrat congress, so he had to acquiesce to them. Also a lot of the spending was to defeat the Soviet Union in the Cold War which we did, and let to the removal of Berlin Wall and bringing freedom to those under Soviet rule. All this with lower taxes and a robust economy. Clinton didn’t balance the budget until after Republicans took control of Congress. So by 2000 we had 4 years of Republicans in congress.
A president can’t raise one dime of taxes, or spend one dime without Congress so a lot of what a president can do is lead.. Reagan was a leader, he got people to believe in themselves, and to believe America was good and had limitless potential, Not this hate America we are nothing special rhetoric we have had for the last 6 years. Even Clinton didn’t go around the world saying how bad the US is.
The reason that trickle down worked for Reagan and not Obama is that Reagan did it by reducing taxes, Obama has done bailouts, and with high taxes the 1% holds on to their money and do not put it into the economy. But its more than the 1%, people making over 100K a % that is top heavy taxing just like you want… 50% do not pay income taxes at all, so that is not working. So how is the rich doing it on the back of the poor if half the country does not pay taxes at all? Higher taxes will not make the poor smarter, or manage their money better, or make better choices. If you confiscated every dime in American and redistributed it evenly within 5 years the people that are wealthy would have more, and most that are poor would be poor again. Or we can put in a socialist system, and kill innovation, not reward excellence and we can all live miserable lives just like this administration wants.

      • Randy Nichols

I left out the amount, that is people making over 100k are paying 81% of the income taxes collected. Frank below is spot on why Obama trickle down is not working… he says it more to the point than I did.

      • strayaway

“The fact that the top 1% have gotten better while the rest have stagnated or declined is proof that the Reagan’s theory of “trickle down economics” is garbage.”

Perhaps, but keep in mind that Dems had the Presidency and the Senate for four years and also the House for another two years. It is remarkable then that “trickle down economics” still exists. In fact, when Bush’s ten year tax cuts for the rich expired, Obama made half of Bush’s tax cuts permanent. That means that after 20 years, Obama will have given more tax cuts to the rich than Bush. For an encore, Obama is trying to pass the TPP. The TPP might as well be the new TDE.

      • strayaway

“Under Obama, the top 1% are only ones that have seen their earnings increase…”

Not so. 2/3 of all new jobs created since the nadir of the recession have gone to aliens; legal and otherwise. Obama has been a pretty good president for the 1% and its foreign worker legions. Under Obama, the 1% has increased its percentage of the national wealth at a faster rate than even under Bush. Like Obama, Hillary has supported fast tracking the TPP to further accelerate corporatism for the rich. That may not have been what Rafael Cruz had in mind but he would have been correct if it was.

Hmmm have they heard that Nancy is going to vote for HIlary?? Apparently not – she actually said there wasn’t anything to vote for on the GOP side.

  • TMBatKK

They don’t treat them “like” they absolute idiots. They ARE absolute idiots. Of that I am thoroughly convinced.

  • Randy Nichols

Well, since Hillary has sold out to foreign governments, it is fair to say if she gets elected we are gonna slide faster towards socialism and irrelevance, which is what the left wants.

  • Macdoodle

Clinton’s missing emails are going to surface at the worst possible time.
