Republican Senate Candidate Has Disgustingly Sexist Reason Why He Believes He’s Behind in the Polls

jeff-bell-new-jerseyNormally I would give some kind of elaborate introduction into a story, but I’ll let this jackass speak for himself. Republican Senate candidate Jeff Bell, who’s challenging Senator Cory Booker in New Jersey, has quite the disgusting theory as to why he’s getting his butt kicked in recent poll numbers.

“I’ve done a lot of thinking about this and looked at a lot of different polls, I think it has more to do with the rise in single women,” Bell said. “Single mothers particularly are automatically Democratic because of the benefits. They need benefits to survive, and so that kind of weds them to the Democratic Party.”

“But single women who have never married and don’t have children are also that way,” he continued. “If you take married women, they aren’t that different from married men. So it’s really a problem with the decline in marriage rates. The Democrats do benefit from that.”

Yes, that’s a Republican Senate candidate saying that he’s losing to Cory Booker simply because single mothers are just lazy moochers who rely on help from the government. But it’s really not just single mothers, single women in general are just latched on to the Democratic party because they want handouts. Basically, unless you’re a married woman, he thinks you’re nothing more than someone who’s out voting for Democrats because you’re too lazy to get out there and work to take care of yourself.

It’s almost impossible to even begin to explain his ignorance because it’s that outrageous.

I guess it never occurred to this clown that maybe the reason why women vote for Democrats is because they fight for things like equality for women and the right for women to have control over their own bodies. You know, issues that women kinda, sorta care about.

Or that Senator Booker is just very popular among New Jersey voters.

Though after hearing comments such as these, which aren’t all that uncommon from Republicans, it still blows my mind that any women vote for Republicans. Heck, it shocks me anyone but wealthy, straight, white Christian males vote for Republicans, considering that’s about the only demographic Republicans actually represent. And the saddest part of these comments might be the fact that a lot of Republicans probably agree with Bell. Even if many Republicans currently in office don’t have the guts to say it.

But I think it’s safe to say that this November, Senator Booker isn’t in any danger of losing his seat to this scumbag, as long as New Jersey actually votes in good numbers.

  • Well, if your constituents all want free handouts and you’re not going to represent their wishes to Congress… Maybe if you told us some about why you want the job and how you’re going to be good at it? If only there were some way to restrict access to those who would vote against you…
You’re right Mr. Clifton, it is impossible to explain him.

  • Mainah

WOW! HOLY CRAP! This man is a pig and a poor excuse for human being. Not to mention, not overly bright. Yeah, all unmarried women are receiving “free handouts”, sure they are. Dumbass.

  • langranny

Cory Booker is not only a hunk, but a wonderful caring human being. This guy is an old white ahole…

    • MS

A “hunk”? Is this how you vote? And how do you know he is a caring human being? And age and skin color are important beccause? Your comment is silly and illogical, I hope you stay home on election day.

      • fearlesskris

Quit being a dick. His being a hunk is just a nice aside. The man rescued people from a fire (suffering second degree burns himself), he has rescued a freezing dog, assisted in the resuscitation of a pedestrian hit by a car, responded to snow emergencies – digging people out with his own hands…so what have you done except for coming here to be a complete dick about a man you clearly know nothing about? That’s what I thought.

      • MS

fearless b#tch, aka: dummy first off not a guy, so not a dick, dummy. Never said I had anything against Mayor Booker and did some volunteer work for him when he was running for mayor of Newark, dummy. He has wonderful self marketing and is a handsome, charming man. But that is not a reason to vote for him, dummy. Have any other comments, dummy?

      • fearlesskris

Ah, well, you don’t have to be a certain gender to be a dick. As well proven here MS. I could come up with a few more names if you like, however, you don’t seem to be able to read or comprehend more than dummy. So we’ll leave it at that. At least you can claim the biggest dick around award! Congratulations baby, you’ve made it.

      • MS

Honey your too stupid to come up with a “few more name”. You only know one word, as inappropriate as it is. That’s because you are a di-witted, brainless, simple-minded, obtuse, loud mouth. You are also as unintelligent and unperceptive as they come. S L O W. Ok dummy? I used all kind of words to describe you. Happy? I also noticed that except to the fact that I am NOT a dick as I am in fact a female you ignored every other thing that I said. Seriously. I don’t claim that idiotic award from you idiot. Baby you are too stupid to breath. Go dig a hole, stick your head in, do us all a favor -baby…

      • fearlesskris

Well, first, it is “you’re” – which means “you are” in English. Name should be plural – i.e. names. And then – well never mind sweetie. I know this is a challenge for you, I’ll leave you be.

      • MS

YOU ARE correct I mad a grammatical mistake. I admit I made a grammatical mistake. b$itch. I can correct my grammar. You still can not fix stupid.

      • fearlesskris

And, sweetie, why bother with the finer points of political debate when you can’t even get the fundamentals? Too lazy or too challenged?

      • MS

Finer point, people that vote for a person simply because they are attractive or charasmatic should not bother to vote. They are not considering the facts or the candidates possible actions.

Fine enough point? Believe it was my original point before you started your NASTY comment. b$tch.

      • Kingminnie

^^ speaking of silly and illogical….

      • MS

        Bite me butt wipe

      • Kingminnie

      • MS

        What point?

      • Angelique Michelle Garza

I really hope you’re kidding about that comment dude. If it flew over your head, maybe you should be staying home on election day….

      • WeNeedCommonSense

Wow, don’t know what vibe I am putting out, NOT a dude, a dick or male in any way. My name is the same as your middle name. And for the record, you did not make yourself clear. I don’t mind read and since I don’t know you, cannot read between your lines. Define yourself and own your revelations.

      • markmac123

How do you vote, for the bigoted old white pig?

      • MS

No, follow the candidates, and vote for the person I think will do the best job, not the one with the best smile. This is how intelligent people vote.

  • Jim Bean

There’s no question that a huge chunk of the unwavering Democratic Party base is economically unsatisfied people. Unmarried adults in general are more economically unsatisfied than their married counterparts because they are not in a partnership where expenses can be shared.
Whether that’s the source of Bell’s political problems, I don’t know, but there is no basis to attack the concept he puts forward. The Dems claim they’re
the saviors of everything female and they are not about to do anything (like bring prosperity their way) that might result in them wandering out of the fold and voting with the economically satisfied people.

    • FD Brian

I don’t think you really understand what people on the left are trying to do or the goals they want to accomplish. I would suggest you stick to just telling us what you want to do.

      • What he wants to do is to turn the clock back to 1837 or so.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

maybe 1888,,,,,,,,,,,,, jimbo is ok with ” freed” blacks; but still subjugated

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

that is the correct way to answer jimbos illogical rants

    • Kingminnie

The concept he puts forward has no basis. There, fixed it for you.

      • Jim Bean

“Fix things” – what liberals do best.

      • Kingminnie

Yes, it’s exhausting, as much as cons screw things up.

    • fearlesskris

Interesting. You are suggesting that the Dems have the ability to bring prosperity? I would like to think so as well – there is just one huge problem. It’s called the House of Representatives, firmly in control of the tea party. Yes, I know Speaker Boehner doesn’t align himself with his “knuckleheads” (his word), however, he can’t seem to lead them either. Blocking every thought of a jobs bill or infrastructure bills. And don’t even get me started on how they have abandoned our military veterans. The sooner we rid ourselves of the worst Congress in history, the better. Sadly, with all the unconstitutional and racist voter registration thievery along with illegally gerrymandered congressional voting districts, it’s going to take far longer than it should.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

jimbo will not reply to that

      • Jim Bean

You did a good job of incorporating most of the excuses used by the Left to blame everything on the Republicans into one paragraph.

      • Julie Wickstrom

People don’t want to vote for relics with old fashioned ideals. Modern women don’t dig it in New Jersey. Such a big surprise!

      • FD Brian

You say “excuses”, the rest of the country says “reality”.

      • fearlesskris

You seem to be unable to distinguish between truth and “excuses”. That’s okay, I see that you are well known around here for your lack of comprehension and I don’t want to tax your mental capacity so early on a Sunday morning. There, there…

    • markmac123

Has Jim Bean been in the Jim Beam? Drunkenness would at least give your stupidity a bit of legitimacy.

      • LMB

Whenever I read his posts it’s in the voice ofFog Horn Leg Horn.

      • Jim Bean

Eloquent attack upon me. Care to offer anything relevant to the topic of discussion?

      • Julie Wickstrom

Well, well, well I recon… 🙂 You could not encourage the effort.

      • markmac123

I suppose it’s relevant that you start your paragraph off with two generalizations and offer no proof for them. I suppose it’s relevant that you say Dems support of women is fake but yet Dems passed the Fair Pay Act for women. I suppose it’s relevant that one party continually bashes women on the floor of the house and Senate and it’s NOT the Democrats. I suppose it’s relevant that most right wing radio and TV personalities are misogynistic jerks. I suppose it’s relevant that it’s members of the Republican party talking about things like “legitimate rape”(Akin) and how men are the real victims. I suppose it’s relevant that the Republican party said they wanted to reach out to women and have since done nothing but bash them.

      • Jim Bean

And I suppose its champions of women like Obama who still continue to pay their female staff at lower rates. They don’t do what you want, they just say what you want to hear and that’s all it takes. Go try to use your Fair Pay Act and see what you really have. I know from experience with the EEOC that there is a law there and a government branch that supposedly enforces it. But go to them with a complaint and see how quickly they see a reason your complaint is not worth pursuing.

      • markmac123

Oh so you’d rather he call them sluts than pass legislation that helps them. I see.
So tell me, what’s YOUR solution? Or, let me guess, you’re just a cry-baby tw*t who likes to bitch about the EVIL Obama because he’s not a tough looking fake cowboy from Connecticut. In other words, a typical fucking Republican.

    • Julie Wickstrom

I do share expenses and a life with a wonderful man. I am pretty happy with life. In general I make good money easily with my skills. This politician’s views seem to be against everything for women, gays, and equality. I want to be seen as a person instead of a woman. Show me a republican that will represent me as a human, not as a women, interested in small business and I will vote for them.

      • Jim Bean

Show me a Democrat who isn’t focused on your gender when trying to capture your vote.

      • Julie Wickstrom

That’s O.K. Republicans could get my vote if they didn’t vote so much against nearly everything that would benefit the majority of the population. Also the rude comments about sexism, domestic abuse, and rape by prominent people in the party aren’t helping. So I’d rather lean towards a party whose policies are more inline with my own. I have a vote someone wants to earn. It’s not only women’s issues I base my vote on. I try to vote for what is best for my area (even if I have to pay more money).

  • FD Brian

and thanks to modern medicine this guy is going to live much longer than he would have 100 years ago.

  • Washingtonian

Whatever floats your boat, dude. Rationalize all you want.

  • Christian shitting assholes.

    • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

      totally

  • LMB

He is also basically saying that married women do as their husbands say by stating that married women, who voted Denocrat when single, vote Republican once married like their husbands do. Gee I sure am happy I met me a man, because I just couldn’t function successfully in the world without him ***rolls eyes***

    • Julie Wickstrom

There couldn’t possibly be women who like a candidate who votes for a representative with their interests in mind because that would be too out there! We should all vote for someone who our wise men tell us to vote for because we shouldn’t read all that boring stuff or something like that. I read more politics than my man but he still hangs left. He wishes Republicans were actually fiscally conservative and didn’t suck on social issues. I might vote republican if they didn’t vote against my interests as well. If this Senator wants to get in he has to vote for the needs of what he represents. He doesn’t understand that concept. There are much fewer on social services than he thinks that will tip the vote against him.

  • What a maroon!

  • Joanne3905

You know, I bet most single welfare parents are Republicans. I’ve met a few who “hate” Obama because he’s a “socialist” but they are on welfare, subsidized housing, Medicaire, and food stamps….seriously..I could name two right now who really believe that way.

    • LMB

It’s absolutely true. Red states take in more money for public assistance than blue states. IMO it’s why Republicans run on the “Christian Patriot” platform. They can get people to vote against their own good by convincing them all liberals are atheists hell bent on taking away their guns and freedom while THEY pass insane laws that DO take away their rights. Unfortunately, with education low on the Republican agenda, these people are easily fooled.

      • The GOP has been pulling this con-job for nearly 50 years, getting poor white people in southern states to vote against their own interests…and they’ve gotten nothing in return for it.

      • Julie Wickstrom

They get the affects of the trickle down economics which worked out SO well. I like how they only jobs in their area are gas stations. I’ve seen it in real life.

      • The GOP’s greatest trick ever is having convinced so many poor, rural white voters that they’ve done anything at all for them.

    • Chomper Lomper Tawee

They hate him because he’s black…..Do they even know what Socialism is?

      • Julie Wickstrom

I doubt it. They think Marxism, Communism and Socialism are the same and interchangeable. Whoever thinks like that doesn’t read much.

      • Joanne3905

Yes they do hate him because he’s black. And they only know the word socialism because they’ve heard others call him that. They are just plain stupid.

    • Julie Wickstrom

I don’t understand the biting the hand that feeds concept of those people.

  • ML

There is a lot of discrimination against unmarried women, and now I see that I can rightfully blame it on GOP!

    • Julie Wickstrom

Should I apologize for making money, being unmarried, and being a registered voter? Nope. Fools have to earn my vote.

    • Angelique Michelle Garza

Old republicans are still expecting women to get married to shut up and marry at 18 and right after they graduate high school aren’t they? -.-

  • Leaning Blue

He sums up perfectly the problems republicans have with women. They think women should just shut up, hurry up and get married and have lots of babies. To be fair, republican women think the exact same way as republican men. What they don’t seem to understand is not all single women need or get assistance, and not all single women are single because they want to. Where I live the ratio is 7:1 (seven women for each man), and not everyone’s marriage works out or some are widowed. It’s almost like if the republican party doesn’t understand that life happens and not everyone lives in a perfect world with a house with a white picket fence, a husband, a couple of kids, and a dog. And if you have a real good job you might even be able to afford a cat. But to their detriment they continue to not understand the issues that are important to women and WHY they’re important to women, especially single women.

    • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

just remind them that JESUS jes’ might’ve been homosexual as ( a) he never married ( b) he has no kids ( c) all of his apostles were MEN (d) he N..E..V..E..R.. said anything about homosexuality

      • Julie Wickstrom

Interesting argument. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm.

      • gian keys LOVES shemale porn

probably the real reason he got killed,,,,,

  • SinHalo27

It may take some time for these old dinosaurs to die out but at least we can vote them all out in November!

  • Andy Sprouse

I think more women vote democrat because Republicans are always trying to legislate what they can do with their own bodies. Republicans always take the pro-life side and im sure there are many other issues they do not consider in the best interests of women.

    • Sandy Greer

I think it our innate ‘caring’ that causes women to lean (D) No matter the issue.

I mean that as no slur on men, or even on (R)s.

      • LMB

I would agree with both statements: women’s issues and innate caring. It’s incredibly ironic that the “Christian values” party cares very little. Ugh…. I could rant on this for a while probably, but in short, how a Christian could vote for a party that hates the poor and worships the wealthy, spreads discrimination and inequality and demonizes those who are different is beyond me.

      • I think then candidate Obama hit that nail squarely on the head with his small towns, guns and God comment during the 2004 election campaign. He was right, but being right didn’t earn him any friends in the South.

  • ditomagik

With these sort of comments, I am sure he is not winning over any votes from those he proclaims are keeping his poll number low. In fact, he may loose some of the voters he had. Let him keep talking this way…works for me. What worries me is the tendency of the Democratic voter to not vote in mid term elections. To me this election couldn’t be more vital to all of us. Please, get up and vote this November.

  • curtis

Idiot. Single women simply don’t want him and his awful GOP friends in their bedrooms.

  • Mike Estes

I wonder what else he’s using “women don’t like me” as an excuse for.
