Scott Baio’s ‘Christian’ Hypocrisy & Sexism Get Destroyed During Heated MSNBC Interview (Video)

Look, I’ll be the first one to tell you that I couldn’t care less what the guy from Charles in Charge and Joanie Loves Chachi thinks about politics — or really anything else. The day I care what “Chachi” has to say about something is the day I take the proverbial long walk off a short pier.

However, one thing I am a big fan of is seeing jackasses get embarrassed on national television after their ignorance and hypocrisy is called out directly to their face. That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday when MSNBC’s Tamron Hall absolutely shredded one of Donald Trump’s “most famous” supporters for an anti-Hillary Clinton tweet he sent out that is obviously meant to imply that she’s the “C word.”

During Scott Baio’s speech at the RNC convention on Monday he said that he had written his speech while he was in church. I found it rather odd that someone who was clearly trying to pander to the crowd by bringing up his supposed church attendance would then admit that he wrote his speech there. “Chachi” basically admitted to completely disrespecting that holy place by writing a speech lying about Hillary Clinton while he was there instead of worshipping his faith — which is what you’re supposed to do at church.

Well, during this interview, Hall showed a picture of a very offensive tweet he sent out about Hillary Clinton, sarcastically asking him if he tweeted that out while he was sitting in church.

Baio’s excuse?

“I just put it up there,” he replied.

Hall wasn’t buying his ridiculous excuse that he didn’t mean anything offensive by it. You could tell that she was rather annoyed by the way Baio was trying to play dumb about what the tweet implies while claiming that he didn’t mean anything nasty or offensive by sending it out.

He then began to take offense to her questioning his faith. Even though all she really did was point out that it’s very hypocritical of him to essentially boast about his faith, being a Christian and going to church — while tweeting out highly offensive (and sexist) memes about someone simply because he doesn’t like them.

She then brought up an older tweet Baio had sent out of a very unflattering picture of Michelle Obama with the caption, “Wow. He wakes up to this every morning.” Baio tried to spin that tweet by saying that he was just trying to be funny and he wasn’t making fun of her appearance, an excuse only someone dumb enough to support Donald Trump would believe.

Again, he was trying to play dumb when it’s obvious to anyone with even a shred of common sense in their brain what he meant when he shared both of these disgusting memes.

If you have a couple of minutes I would highly encourage everyone to check out the back and forth between these two. Not only did Hall absolutely destroy him during this exchange, but Baio’s excuses for sending out these very offensive tweets are so ridiculous that it’s quite enjoyable to sit there and watch him make a complete fool out of himself.
