Sean Hannity Embarrasses Himself in Latest Attempt to Defend Trump’s Insanity (Video)

Without a doubt, one of the biggest frauds in this country is Fox News’ Sean Hannity. A con man and a hypocrite, this is someone no rational person could ever take seriously. His pro-Trump pom-pom waving has been so ridiculous that not only did network executives call him out for lacking “editorial standards” after using non-credible data in his desperate attempt to defend the current “president,” but Fox News could be in quite a bit of legal trouble concerning the Seth Rich conspiracy he pushed heavily a few weeks ago — a conspiracy they were forced to admit wasn’t based on anything factual.

In my opinion, Hannity perfectly exemplifies what a joke most of the conservative media is. Almost everything he says is nothing more than propaganda he’s forced to push because reality doesn’t support the drivel he’s trying to sell.

For instance, the rant he went on Tuesday where he claimed that Trump’s been vindicated after reports surfaced indicating that his former campaign manager Paul Manafort was wiretapped before and after the 2016 election.

“So for all of you lazy, overpaid, ideological liberal mainstream media people out there, you have now been exposed for the frauds you are yet again!” Hannity stated. “And as we’ve been saying, the biased press is not interested in reporting the truth and fact. They only care about spearing and delegitimizing President Trump and this is more evidence.”

He then played several clips of various journalists dismissing Trump’s conspiracy that Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped.

“The conspiracy theory media lies to you yet again,” Hannity continued. “Now this is not surprising considering the left-wing media- it’s like an echo chamber. They all find one topic to attack the president on and they repeat and repeat and repeat the same talking points. This is beyond pathetic, predictable, frankly dangerous in a lot of ways.”

While I’m sure that whiny nonsense plays well with Trump supporters, it proves Hannity has absolutely no credibility. The Department of Justice just admitted there’s no evidence Obama had Trump Tower put under surveillance:

Both FBI and NSD confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by the March 4, 2017 tweets.

Those tweets, of course, were sent out by Trump claiming that Obama had his “phones tapped” during the election, calling it “McCarthyism” and comparing it to “Nixon/Watergate.”

When Trump sent out those tweets, he specifically accused the former president of having Trump Tower put under surveillance — which never happened.

What did happen was that Manafort was personally put under surveillance, not Trump. Furthermore, the fact that a FISA court approved such surveillance means a judge was presented with enough evidence that Manafort was involved in something that could be illegal. The fact that an individual who once served as Trump’s campaign manager was wiretapped by U.S. intelligence does not, in any way(!), back up Trump’s conspiracy debunked by the Department of Justice that Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped.

While Hannity is unquestionably a scumbag, he’s not an idiot. He’s well aware of the fact that the Department of Justice publicly admitted that there’s no evidence to back up Trump’s wiretapping conspiracy, and that a FISA court approving surveillance of Paul Manafort has absolutely nothing to do with what the “president” accused his predecessor of back in March.

This is another example where if the truth was actually what Republicans claimed that it was, then they wouldn’t need to lie, distort the facts, or push outlandish conspiracies.
