Sean Hannity Voices Bizarre and Awful Defense of Child Abuse (Audio)

hannity-2It’s not at all surprising to see most folks over at Fox News coming to Adrian Peterson’s defense when it comes to his brutal whipping of his 4-year-old son. A beating for which he’s been indicted by a grand jury on charges of child abuse.

But leave it to Sean Hannity to take defending child abuse to a whole other level by insinuating if Adrian Peterson is in fact convicted of savagely beating his 4-year-old son, that this will somehow impede parents from being able to apparently beat the “gay” out of their children.

Hannity said, “This is my problem with liberals. Because this is where my fear goes with all of this. You guys want to tell parents what they can or cannot do. Fox example, is it going to become illegal if a parent teaches the politically correct view that being gay is not normal?”

So, because “liberals” (or pretty much anyone who opposes the brutal beating of a 4-year-old child with a wooden stick to the point that they scar and bleed) support charges bring brought upon Adrian Peterson for child abuse, this will hamper the ability for parents to teach their children about human sexuality?

I guess Hannity would be just fine with a parent beating a defenseless child with a wooden stick until they bled to “teach them a lesson that being gay is wrong.” Because that’s basically what he’s “concerned” about. That if a parent were to do that, they would then be brought up on charges for child abuse.

Because couldn’t a parent argue that they should be allowed to do just that? You know, to “show them that kind of behavior isn’t right.”

And throughout this debate about disciplining children that’s risen since the Peterson story broke, I’ve yet to have a single person give me one logical scenario where whipping a 4-year-old child to the point that they bleed and have open wounds all over their body would be deemed appropriate. Honestly, what the hell could a child that young possibly do to warrant such punishment? Hell, what could any child (or human being) do to deserve that?

Honestly, think about it. If we saw one adult whipping another adult with a wooden stick, wouldn’t we be appalled? So why do some find people this behavior appropriate to do to small children? Because they were abused as children? Yeah, that’s a real good excuse. Because you were abused, that makes it okay for others to abuse children as well.

Little girls were also married off to much older men around the age of 13 many years ago. Should we reenact those traditions as well? Oh, no, we put an end to that years ago. How about

Damn “liberals.”

But that’s the kind of mindset many of these people defending Peterson’s actions seem to have.

And for Hannity to essentially “worry” that Peterson being convicted of child abuse might somehow prevent parents from “correcting gay behavior” (which I can only assume means “beat the gay out of them”) is appalling even for that scumbag.
