Ted Cruz Gets Deservedly Blasted on Twitter Following Donald Trump Endorsement

When I saw the news that Sen. Ted Cruz was going to finally endorse Donald Trump, I wasn’t remotely surprised. While Trump has become the “face” for the worst parts of the GOP, I still think Cruz is much… much worse. So I wasn’t shocked when I heard that after he created his little spectacle during the Republican convention in July, he finally tucked his tail between his legs and has decided to put his support behind Trump for president.

As someone who’s clearly going to run for president again, I’m fairly certain the RNC (because the chairman basically said so) made it very clear to Cruz that if he didn’t endorse the Republican nominee this year he might pay for it down the road.

So, being the soulless creature that he is, Cruz has apparently decided to slither out from whatever nefarious rock he lives under here in Texas to endorse the man who basically called his wife ugly, suggested he wasn’t eligible to be president, and tried to insinuate his father might have been involved in JFK’s assassination.

It really shows you the type of person Ted Cruz is.

Well, let’s just say the Twitter world noticed Cruz’s gutless decision to endorse a man who insulted his wife — and it’s been rather hilarious.

Here are a few of the best tweets I saw:

While Twitter can be a place where a lot of hateful and ignorant rhetoric gets spread, it can also be absolutely hilarious to follow whenever something like this happens. Then when you combine two men who are absolutely wretched individuals, I knew the responses were going to be really good. There were quite a few more, but let’s just say they were more “adult-themed” and I wanted to keep this as clean as possible. If you have a moment, you should definitely hit up Twitter to check out some more of these posts. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
