These 2 Tweets From Trump are Great Examples of How Pathetic, Weak, and Dishonest He Is

While I personally find Donald Trump’s daily Twitter tantrums embarrassing, I definitely don’t want him to stop. In my opinion, there’s no better way to showcase just how unfit, unstable, and incompetent Trump is as a human being than his incoherent ramblings on Twitter.

For example, the following two tweets:

His average approval rating over at Real Clear Politics is still extremely low at 41 percent vs. 54 percent who disapprove. So, if he’s calling those his “highest poll numbers,” despite the fact the economy has been strong his entire time in office (Thanks, Obama!), that’s pathetically sad.

Then again, considering he didn’t cite any source for this information, or provide a link to back up what he’s saying, like much of what Trump says, this was probably just something he tweeted about after hearing it on Fox News.

Though the tweet I really wanted to address was the one he sent out about Comey — because it’s pure fiction.

Let me get one thing out of the way first: the proper use of the word is counsel, not council.

Yeah, he’s “like, really smart,” alright.

Moving on.

As far as we know, whether in his memos, his book, or elsewhere, Comey didn’t leak classified information. No matter how many times Trump says this, that doesn’t make it true.

There was one section of a memo he gave to a friend — who then “leaked it” to the press — that was considered classified, but Comey had redacted that part.

Though Trump’s assertion that the special counsel was assigned because of these memos is absurd.

While they played a part, mostly because they paint a picture of a “president” trying to obstruct justice, the main catalyst that led to Robert Mueller being involved was triggered when Trump decided to fire Comey — then told Lester Holt the on-going Russia investigation played a big part in his decision to do so.

In all likelihood, had Trump never fired Comey, then a special counselor is never assigned.

However, that’s the caveat to all of this.

Since Comey didn’t give into Trump’s attempts to obstruct justice, that’s why he fired him — and that’s why the former FBI director released his memos. The reason why they were released in the first place (Comey’s termination), and the questionable behavior they chronicle from Trump toward the former FBI director, are two of the biggest reasons why Mueller is currently leading this investigation.

These two tweets truly are great examples of how pathetic Trump is. They show he’s becoming increasingly desperate as Robert Mueller’s investigation inches closer and closer to exposing the truth about him.
