I’ve frequently joked that after years of conservatives wanting to see Barack Obama’s college transcripts, the fact that not many (if any) of them have demanded to see Trump’s is extremely telling. This is a man who has a degree from an Ivy League school yet has the vocabulary of a child, can’t spell simple words, and seems completely clueless about damn near everything.
For another pathetic example of what an absolute incompetent buffoon Trump is, look no further than this recent tweet he sent out about his decision to end DACA:
Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do). If they can’t, I will revisit this issue!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 6, 2017
One tweet, yet so much stupid.
For starters, the Obama administration never truly had a chance to “legalize DACA” through Congress because Republicans spent his eight years in office opposing anything he supported. This idea that Obama “couldn’t get it done” is utter nonsense. It’s impossible to get much done when the political position of many of the people you need to help you do that is, “No matter what you support, we’re going to oppose it.”
Though I’d like to point out that Trump bringing up Obama’s name is just another childish, petty example of how jealous and obsessed he is with his predecessor.
However, without a doubt, the dumbest part of this tweet was his declaration that if Congress can’t “legalize DACA,” then he’ll revisit the issue.
So, wait a minute.
In one instance, Trump and Republicans are claiming that his ending of DACA is about Obama’s “overreach as president,” claiming that he didn’t have the Constitutional power to protect DREAMers. On the other hand, Trump ends the tweet by essentially saying that if Congress can’t “legalize DACA” in six months, then he’ll revisit the issue.
In other words, if Congress can’t pass DACA, then Trump’s basically saying that he’ll “revist the issue,” at which point he could very well do the same thing Obama did by bypassing Congress when he initially signed DACA. Not that Trump’s saying he’s going to do that, but if Congress fails to “legalize DACA,” that would be his only real option other than simply ending the program entirely in six months — which he could very well do.
Because he’s an awful human being.
The bottom line is, this tweet completely contradicted itself, yet Trump’s too stupid to realize that. In one instance he’s saying this has to be up to Congress to “legalize,” however, if they aren’t able to in six months, then he might take matters into his own hands — which is the very thing Obama did in the first place.
This has nothing to do with DACA or any belief that Obama signing it was “unconstitutional.” This decision was nothing more than another example where, out of sheer jealousy and spite, Trump’s trying to undo something Obama did when he was president. Just like when he pulled the United States out of the Paris climate agreement, and banned transgender troops from being able to join the military, many of Trump’s decisions have seemingly been based on nothing more than doing the opposite of Obama.
As I said on Twitter recently, you can sum up Trump’s “presidency” like this:
Donald Trump’s “presidency” summed up: If it panders to bigotry and ignorance, or if it’s the opposite of what Obama supported, he’s for it.

So the next time you’re wondering what Donald Trump’s going to do, just ask yourself what decision would pander to ignorance, bigotry, and be the opposite of what Obama would support — and there’s your answer.
