Trump’s Unglued Thursday Twitter Hissy Fit Proves Pressure is Getting to Him

As most everyone reading this is probably aware, this fake “tough guy” persona Donald Trump likes to project, and millions of his supporters believe is true, is all fiction. The truth is, he’s a thin-skinned, insecure man-child who can’t control his emotions and whines more than any other person I’ve ever known.

He’s an incredibly weak person — especially mentally.

It’s that weakness, combined with his unparalleled neurotic insecurities, that often leads to his frequent Twitter meltdowns for which he’s become famous. Like on Thursday when it seems the current “president” spent most of the day obsessing about the on-going Russia investigations, special counselor Robert Mueller, and reports that he’s not under investigation for obstruction of justice.

Let’s just start with the first one:

Who’s “they,” exactly?

These investigations began last summer, well before the actual election, when almost nobody really thought he could actually “win.”

So the only “they” to which he could be referring is the FBI. So the only thing I can decipher from this tweet is that the current “President” of the United States is publicly saying that the FBI is an untrustworthy, non-credible law enforcement entity which is in the process of doing whatever it can to bring him down.

While that’s absurd on so many levels, the obvious issue here is that these investigations began before he was ever “elected.”

Next up he confirmed what I just said and called the FBI and its agents corrupt:

That’s fairly self-explanatory. After the first tweet one might wonder who “they” were, exactly — but this following tweet confirms he’s talking about the FBI, its agents, and Mueller.

I don’t think I need to tell anyone reading this that it’s not a good thing when the “president” is publicly bashing and calling into question the ethics and credibility of the FBI.

Then a few hours later, Trump showed up on Twitter again with these two gems:

There’s so much stupid here, it’s hard to figure out where to even begin.

First, I would like to point out the fact that this is Trump calling out the Department of Justice, a government agency he staffed. So is he suggesting that the DOJ, staffed with his people, are part of some conspiracy not to investigate Hillary Clinton? Because that’s what it sounds like to me.

Furthermore, considering Russia wasn’t trying to help Clinton win last year’s election, nor do people around her keep getting caught in secret meetings with Russian officials, while she still refuses to say anything negative about the country or its President Vladimir Putin, there’s clearly a whole lot of context and facts Trump’s ignoring here to say something so idiotic.

As for his claims that they “bleached emails,” destroyed phones with hammers, and she had her husband meet with the former attorney general days before she was cleared, he’s completely distorting the truth about all of that.

The emails to which Trump’s referring are the personal ones she deleted and didn’t hand over to the FBI. And these emails weren’t “bleached,” her team simply used a free software program called BleachBit to delete them. Another fact is, despite what many people think, these emails had been ordered to be deleted long before a subpoena was issued. So it wasn’t as if she ordered them destroyed after she was ordered to turn her emails over.

As for the phones, according to security experts, it’s actually fairly standard for people in her position to completely destroy a device once they’re finished using it. That way no one, no matter how technologically savvy, can extract information from it.

Then when it comes to the meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton, it happened, by chance, at an Arizona airport for all the world to see. Maybe it’s just me, but if the Clinton’s were trying to set up some unethical meeting with Lynch regarding the FBI’s investigation into her emails, I’m not sure a public airport where everyone would see that you two met would be the best place to have it.

Furthermore, Lynch had absolutely nothing to do with the FBI’s decision not to charge Clinton with any crime. Sure, she could have still pursued charges against Clinton, but had already said she was going to follow the FBI’s conclusion — which, of course, was that there was nothing criminal linked to Clinton’s emails.

Not only is Trump now flat-out attacking the credibility and intent of the FBI, but he seems to be pushing conspiracies against his own Justice Department, and he’s pathetically brought up Hillary Clinton’s name — because that’s what he usually does when he’s trying to get his supporters worked up and distracted.

This is simpy more proof that Donald Trump’s becoming more desperate, unhinged, and is cracking under the pressure as investigators appear to be inching closer and closer to possible criminal charges against him.
